Paid Members choccygirl Posted July 4, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted July 4, 2021 (edited) I felt awful after my first vaccination but my second was absolutely fine so it’s not a given. My arm barely hurt and I had nothing else obvious. I felt a little tired but that could well have been something else. Not sure if it’s just me but I’m starting to feel pretty pissed off that having finally got the full vaccine there’s now so many cases and reckless behaviour that I still don’t trust going back to anywhere close to normal. I really want to but knowing there’s so much of it around just puts me off. I thought it would be a fully vaccinated, few cases type of deal. I don’t get this country, so close and now they’ve fucked it and nothing is being done, people aren’t doing their all (e.g a friend kids and husband in contact with the public isn’t moving the vaccine forward because “oh well, it’s only a month”). The booster for over 50s is great but what about the rest and long Covid etc? Once all restrictions go it all just seems madness to accept so many case as ok. I’m trying not to think about it too much nowadays (it’s going well as you can tell...!). I have a week to go until I’m fully protected. They responded almost immediately.  Apparently it's something to do with an issue I had earlier this year where I was receiving someone else's test results in my emails. That was supposedly sorted, but for whatever reason this has now caused them to lock my account down to protect my information.  It's a start. However, even though they've acknowledged that my account is locked and I can't log in, they've asked me to confirm whose information I can see when I log in.  Nobody's. I think I either picked it up before, or the same day - I went into a few shops and got coffee, so who knows? It's everywhere right now. So far, mild. It feels like a cold. Had a bit of a sore throat last night, and when it felt worse this morning, I took a test. I'm achey, with a sore throat and feeling congested. Bit hot too. SuperBacon Posted July 6, 2021 Share Posted July 6, 2021 Got an email on Saturday to say that 11yo has to self isolate for 10 days as there was a confirmed case in her year, and then found out another confirmed case in year 5 so that's nearly half her school off. Then 8yo worke up this morning and couldn't get out of bed and said she was really unwell (unlike her AND it was a 'fun day' at school). Went for a test today so hope to hear back tomorrow.
