His big policy idea to redistribute wealth and build a fairer society is that we should all buy bonds with the thousands we must have saved during lockdown and he promises to spend it on nice things. I’m sure voters in Redcar and Workington are rushing to the banks as we speak. He couldn’t even stomach standing in front a red backdrop to make his big “reset” speech, opting for purple to really hammer home that he’s only a little bit less of a gammon than the Tories.  Matt Hancock has just been found guilty of his handling of contracts, which pretty much amounts to blatant corruption(fuck this word “cronyism”), but according to former Director of Public Prosecutions, calling for him to resign isn’t what people want to see. Maybe he’s also getting a brown envelope under the table from Hancock’s mate that got a £30m contract to make vials for the NHS on his father-in-law’s potato farm.  People’s Vote advocate, and holder of Corbyn’s feet to the fire over Brexit, has also been instructing his MP’s not to mention Brexit in the Commons for fear of being labelled unpatriotic. The single biggest Government policy issue of the day and his tactics are radio silence, he has to be being advised by a double agent, surely?  He is the most uninspiring leader of a UK political party that I can recall, and I’m including Tim Farron in there.    Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Imagine what he’d have done if they’d have broken the law.
