Well you are one of them. That argument you had with SBA on the "minor news thread" was a classic example of some of the pettiness on here.

How long before i get a ban for making unpopular comments on an unpopular comments thread? Or some other misdemeanor.

If you got a ban it wouldn’t be for saying controversial things, it’d be for intentionally trying to stink up threads and being a tedious bore.

You may have noticed "Paid members" on here?  Well, they were the only ones who had the option to downvote.  You may notice that I'm not a paid member, therefore I have not ever down voted anyone.  So you can stick that theory up your arse.

The SBA thing was about decency to fellow forum members but anyone who agreed with him is an arsehole.

OK, you've named one, name another 4.

Christopher Nolan hasn't made a decent film since Momento. He has been average to shit since then

I think The Prestige is above average.

That's all well and good but what about all the racists?

Mainly living in London, according to the press I've read in my lifetime as regards crime between people of different ethnicities. No-one's been stabbed to death by a crew of white men for being black and it being covered up by the local police force in Llangollen (in fact we've been too busy having an International Eisteddfod for over 70 years to bring people from all over the world together in the name of peace through shared song, dance and culture, with participants staying in local people's houses gratis). Can you say the same for London over the past 30 years? The Met is one of the most institutionally racist beings alive, that's not rural. Stephen Lawrence didn't live in a farm house. Stephen Yaxley Lennon? City man. Joey Barton's brother did for a black man in a racially motivated killing a few years ago in Liverpool, which is one of the most tolerant places I know.

But, middle aged and elderly people in raped areas with their money filtrered off to the South East under Thatcher who don't feel relevant voted for Brexit to bloody the nose of the establishment to finally feel heard, also many are Bennites. So obviously they're racist, but just saying, we've had no blood spill on our streets to my knowledge, indeed the Welsh rural areas are normally left wing strongholds, as is The People's Republic of South Yorkshire. Old school Socialist and Trade Union strongholds.

Luther, Line of Duty, Peaky Blinders and basically every other "gritty" drama made by the BBC in the past 10 years are a load of shite. Poorly written, acted, over the top, completely unbelievable, terrible production values and frankly embarrassing.

I've not seen any of those (save for a few episodes of Peaky Blinders), but Our Girl is fucking awful. If somebody in real life was in that position, their make-up (if they'd even wear that much) would be running so much they'd look like Ultimate Warrior after his WrestleMania 6 & 7 matches. Yet Our Michelle looks absolutely picture perfect while she's in a skirmish.

I'll give you Peaky Blinders, Happy Valley,  London Spy, The Fall and anything /everything starring Sheridan Smith, but Line of Duty was magnificent from season 2 onwards. Keely Hawes' upper lip being a particular highlight. I couldn't take my eyes off it.

While we're on it, Game of Thrones is absolutely diabolical. Dungeons and Dragons with shitter acting, jibs, the odd willy and excessive beards.

And Breaking Bad was only good from Season 4.
