Poorly written, acted, over the top, completely unbelievable, terrible production values and frankly embarrassing. I'll give you Peaky Blinders, Happy Valley, London Spy, The Fall and anything /everything starring Sheridan Smith, but Line of Duty was magnificent from season 2 onwards. Keely Hawes' upper lip being a particular highlight. I couldn't take my eyes off it. While we're on it, Game of Thrones is absolutely diabolical. I did actually also make an exception and really try a couple times with Breaking Bad.. I never made it past somewhere near the beginning of series two though.
