He got Peterborough promoted to the Championship twice while turning some good non league players into Championship and Premier League players and turned Donny Rovers around too. Preston job was too big a step for him and the Championship as a whole seems to be above his level but that may be harsh given the only times he's been in it, it's been with clubs who are punching.
