LEGIT Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 (edited) I've been watching the b-shows too. They're far less enjoyable for me than Powerrr as things are much less polished in terms of undercard and overall production. That said the NWA sanctioned main events have been really good, and it was good seeing two of my favourites this week, Trevor Murdoch and Aaron Stevens. Hope Powerrr is back soon though. Zaheer Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 (edited) Hey peeps, so somewhat sorry (not sorry) to hijack this thread but i think it's very relevant. I've been using this forum for absolute years, through here I met some awesome people and got introduced to some people within wrestling. One being Nick Aldis. I recently got back into making music (long story for another time) but he's always been very supportive of my work. the NWA 5 On It countdowns feature one of my productions. My friends and I decided to put together a wrestling related rock/rap song based on Nick's character. They loved it so much they even put a video together for it which was uploaded today. I don't seem a capable of embedding the video but here's the link : - Honestly this has been one of my life goals, to get a song done for a wrestler incorporating their character. It's available on Spotify / Itunes etc if anyone's interested. https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/zah... Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/16GQnS... R U Kidding Me Ric Blade Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 I have to admit when I first read that you had put together a rap song about Nick Aldis I cringed a little. Then I listed to it and have to say that it sounds fucking sick mate, great job! You got a good pen and a good flow, the video it's been put to looks nice as well. Quote
Paid Members I Bent My Wookie Posted November 24, 2020 Paid Members Posted November 24, 2020 This has been stuck in my head for most the morning at work so that can only be a good thing. I really like it as a track, it's one of those that has a prize fight feel, like a one off tune for a big match kind of track. Quote

Guys just wanted to say thanks for your comments and posting this elsewhere, really means a lot to me. Had a lot of life shifting experiences and havent been in the best of headspace (probbaly one for the mental health thread!) but this year I reconnected with making music again, and getting to do this (and subsequently getting it featured by Nick, NWA and the podcast guys) has been a real blessing. I do ask if any of you guys would kindly share the track across socials , friends or support by buying the song it'll really go a long way. Just to put it into perspective, it's hit close to 1000 streams on Spotify in a week, which brings me a whopping $4 of revenue! It's hard out there at the moment but I'm hopeful all it takes is one person to hear it and grant a further opportunity. Thank you again guys. Quote

I'm surprised it's as much as that. I thought I read something like 100 streams earns you 5p or something, not that $4 for 1,000 is much more than that, but still more than I thought. When you consider minimum wage is £8 per hour , earning $4 for a weeks worth of promo is very disheartening.... Quote
LWOLeN Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 I just randomly watched Mike Bennett vs Nick Aldis. A.k.a: I really need to find a new hobby or do something useful with my time..., Btw, why is NWA’s ref much taller than the actual wrestlers!? A kardinal sin. Quote
King Coconut Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Loved the 3rd episode of Shockwave. Shooter Stevens needs a shot at Aldis. Quote
