Angle_fan Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 I was absolutely devastated to read the news around 4:30pm. It's hard enough going just one week without Powerrr. Now we're talking months. I feel so sorry for all the wrestlers too who don't have WWE/AEW contracts. Quote
Paid Members Fatty Facesitter Posted March 16, 2020 Paid Members Posted March 16, 2020 (edited) Gutting. I’ve not missed a Powerrr and it’s been my favourite show since it started. I haven’t been reading taping results/spoilers so I was selfishly hoping they had a already recorded a few more editions in the locker before they went down the empty arena route. Still, what a show it’s been - to the point where I think I could quite happily go back and watch it from scratch again during the coming days. Angle_fan Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 I'll probably rewatch from the start too over the coming weeks. With little content coming ahead I'll have the time. Quote
RIDDUM_N_STYLE Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 They've put up the full NWA70 show on Youtube for free in place of Powerrr Quote
Paid Members JNLister Posted March 18, 2020 Paid Members Posted March 18, 2020 Also the "SuperPowerrr" episode will go up once they've edited out the PPV hype. Quote
Angle_fan Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Can I just ask that everyone spares a thought for Momma Storm during these crazy times. Let's hope she makes it through. Quote
Loki Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 Where's the re-edited Powerr they promised us? I need me some Question Mark and Outlandish. Quote
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted April 1, 2020 Paid Members Posted April 1, 2020 Anybody watch the thing with the empty arena match they uploaded last night? That spill Tim Storm took from the top to the floor looked really nasty. Quote
Angle_fan Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 (edited) I'm going to get round to that. There's a great recent interview with Tim Storm on YouTube. Not sure if any of you have seen it? It really gives you a closer insight into his life. It's 40 minutes long and well worth a watch. My hero ? Edited April 2, 2020 by Angle_fan Quote

Loki Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 4 hours ago, BomberPat said: I am very much alone in this, but one of my favourite Rob Van Dam matches is his match against Scotty Anton at Heatwave 2000. It's latter day ECW struggling for stars, Anton's gimmick is dogshit, and no one buys the two of them as former best friends, but it was the first RVD match I remember seeing, and between him debuting the Van Terminator (and I love a "wrestler promises to debut a new move" angle), and one spot where he follows up a gorilla press with a standing moonsault, it was like nothing I'd ever seen before. Wrong thread Bomberman? Quote
Paid Members BomberPat Posted April 8, 2020 Paid Members Posted April 8, 2020 Yes, don't know how I managed that! Quote
Angle_fan Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 Great bit of production tonight, I thought. The story so far. Looks like it'll be another few weeks until we get Super Powerrr but I can't wait. Quote
