I loved NWA Powerrrr so much at the time. It genuinely felt like a proper 3rd option at a time where WWE was in the gutter and AEW had just started. The roster's mix of legends and fresh faces, the deliberate small-time feel, the theme music was spot on, the presentation was nailed down, all the weird adverts and skits. I was 100% on board, buying PPVs, buying merch, the lot. Covid absolutely sank it and it never recovered, all the new stars left for bigger companies or unfortunately passed away, and it came back and stank the place up. To see it gradually get worse and worse and now this. Man, it breaks my heart. Quote
