CAREBEAR LUVVA Posted December 7, 2019 Share Posted December 7, 2019 Bioshock 1 is incredible, and 2 isn't far behind (it was pretty much just more of the same, but with a couple of new enemies). Infinite's the worst of the three, by far. On a Fire Pro note, the controls aren't anywhere near as complicated as people make out. Merzbow Posted December 8, 2019 Share Posted December 8, 2019 Halo Reach is on PC with the rest of the series coming over the next year, it's so good being able to play it at a solid 60 fps and looking as clear as day. Stylin_and_Profilin Posted December 8, 2019 Share Posted December 8, 2019 So, was getting into FPS again on my PC after a good few years hiatus (not very high end so we are not talking anything too resource rich - Battlefield 4 that kind of thing). Really got the bug again but the issue was that all my friends and colleague were all playing 'newer' games but on Xbox1 / PS4, so in order to get involved it was easier to spend £20+ on game(s) as opposed to £200+ to get a half decent current gen graphics card for my PC. So far so good.....however i have been getting absolutely annihilated left, right and centre. By no means would i say i'm at any sort of proficient level at these games but at the same time i do know what i am doing and not a total n00b for lack of a better expression. Further to that, i can hold my own at similar type of games on the PC so it just seems like my reactions at 35year old have taken a hammering over the years from various excesses and i'm just not as sharp as all these mouthy teenagers. I half joked to a couple of the guys at work that it was only because i was away from my comfort zone of keyboard and mouse and was useless with a game pad/controller which then got a wee discussion going and a confession from one of them that they infact use a specialised adapter on their consoles to allow them to use a K&M. https://xim.tech/ I know certain games (Fortnite, etc) have native support but apparently this is a dedicated bit of kit that bypasses all this and tricks the console into thinking a controller is present. Literally had no idea this thing even existed but i've done some reading up on it and, besides the price, it looks the business. Definitely a grey area in terms of ethics/cheating but it looks a cracking bit of kit. Lot of money to justify the cost but wondered if anyone had experience of them and, if the did, what were the pro's and cons? I've already got a Logitech 502 mouse and Corsair K63 keyboard on my PC so wouldn't need to fork out for anything extra in terms of hardware/peripherals.  Cheers 😀    Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I’ve bought about 4 in 3 seasons. Invariably my negotiations always fail as the player ‘isn’t sure the move would benefit him’ despite him moving to a better club than he’s at for more than double his wage and high bonuses.
