Didn't you want to be a butcher at one point? When was the last time you even saw a cut of meat that you could identify the animal it came from?

 

I don't think unhealthy or lazy food needs to be dog meat garbage like those meat balls.

 

Powdered flavour clumps are a fine thing. Dumping two sachets of cup a soup in one mug was always a favoured delivery method of mine. Also licking the wrapper of a stock cube when cooking..

I could happily sit and eat Oxo cubes. Bit salty (Kenneth.jpg before Sergio gets there), but delicious. Use to rob them out of my nan's cupboards all the time.

This is my new jam, a quid a bag from Heron Foods and I've even been known to eat the powder raw.. it's a bastard to mix too and there'll always be lumps.

Add a little cold water first and mix together to make a paste, slowly add the rest of the water while whisking and you will be lump free.

I've hit a new low, chopped salami in a chicken and mushroom pot noodle. Tastes really nice, I let the salami marinate in the 'noodles' for a few minutes until it was soft.

 

As for powdered sauces, nothing beats a bit of Dinaclass, can't go wrong with it.

I went to a Greek restaurant the other night and was served 5 lamb burgers (no buns) in cheese sauce topped with 3 types of cheese and chips. Not for this thread I hear you cry, just wait until I try it at home on the cheap and add a pack of streaky bacon.

Suzuki. He gave me free ouzo too, which was great because I've not drunk that in about 10 years.

 

Edit: The literal translation from the German was "meat rolls in cheese with fries" which was obviously worth a try.

 

Also Düsseldorf is full of kebab shops. I had a Turkish pizza yesterday, which is just a ton of donna meat and sauce wrapped in a giant flatbread which had been covered in sauce.
