WyattSheepMask
My ticket says 4:00pm doors for a 6:00pm start. The 12:30 could have come from the Meet & Greet that’s happening earlier in the day.
DavidB6937
Yeah we're aiming for 4:30-5ish based on the ticket time.
Paid Members gmoney Posted August 30, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted August 30, 2019 Anyone guess what they might be doing in the 2 hours between opening doors and showtime? Do you reckon they're will be "dark" matches?
DavidB6937
Fite has it 'live' from 5.30pm so presumably there'll be something from then?
MVP RULZ
Most sites have it listed as a 5.30 start, The NJPW1972 have it listed as 5.30 as well. So I'd say it's best to assume its 5.30 and if it starts later then as least you're in.

DavidB6937
Probably the best live show I've seen in terms of match quality. Really enjoyable first NJPW show for me. Great crowd too which helped. Obviously not the best NJPW show but definitely an enjoyable atmosphere and the night flew by.
AdamTH17
Glad everyone who was live had a great time - my viewing experience ended after I gave up with the FITE stream shortly after Naito/White. Massive cock-up by all parties involved. Cannot, cannot be allowing such shoddy production when you're trying to compete with WWE and AEW. An absolute mess. Otto Dem Wanz
Going to be completely honest here and say I didn't enjoy the show that much until the main event, sure it was good and maybe my expectations were too high, but for me it didn't kick into gear until the very end of the penultimate match. I'm also a relative newbie to New Japan so maybe I couldn't appreciate it as much as some of you. That said, what a superb main event, Okada is just brilliant and Suzuki a hard bastard, that really was as good as I expected it to be. Edit - yeah crowd was really good, although I could have done without the two lads next to me talking about fucking Brexit during the ZSJ match. He has been very vocal about Brexit and Boris Johnson, so it may not have been as weird a link as it may have seemed. I thought the Brexit chants were funny. Really enjoyed the show - KENTA vs Ibushii was great too, although someone suggested KENTA got knocked silly. I thought he was just selling but may be wrong.
