At the rate they are dropping out, Flo Rida might end up the only one left.

They are down to Flo Rida, Vanilla Ice and C+C Music Factory.

That's certainly made me go hmmm

Flo Rida appeared for San Marino of all places at Eurovision a couple of years ago. Think they came last

The UK came last with nil points that year (James Newman and his sweaty leather jacket :( ).  Adrenalina was a hit at Chez JB.

Boy George was on guest vocals for San Marino this year.

Weirdly with the same act for San Marino (Senhit).

The only thing I know Martina McBride for is her version of ‘When Love Is Gone’ from the Muppets Christmas Carol soundtrack

She had a massive Country hit in the early-mid nineties with "Independence Day" (written by one of my all time favourites, Gretchen Peters) that would have only fitted the occasion due to the title and the chorus.  The song is about a wife burning down the house with her abusive husband inside.  It's often been misappropriated:

What happened to Simon Amstell?

He wasn't everywhere per se, but he was a very visible TV personality right up until he wasn't. Don't think I've seen him on TV for 15 years.

He popped up on Instagram the other day. He's having one of those mid-life crises where people get all muscly and take photos of themselves. Probably be easier to just buy a motorbike or something.

It was a great show.

For a brief moment I mistakenly thought you were talking about Toby Anstis, ex of Children's BBC.

Edit: Turns out he's a DJ on Heart and Heart Dance?

Also it's spelt Anstis and not Amstis. Today I learned and all that.

As a child, Toby Anstis once knocked me over in Toys R Us in Wood Green when he was being rushed to the shop front to turn on the Christmas lights. Got an apology from him afterwards and the shop gave me a £50 voucher to apologise.

"BBC presenter pays hush money to young child after he assaults him" is what this sounds like to me! *LeTiss pic*

Such a weird thing to read someone else mentioned Wood Green Toys R Us. As a child, I slipped on a wet floor, and bashed my forehead on the corner of a metal shelf (they had those industrial-looking ones that you see in Wickes or B&Q normally), bled like a stuck pig. They put on a plaster, gave me a balloon, and a lollipop.

That's because they didn't have to protect the BBC from a potential scandal.

He must've been a pretty big child to knock you over.
