Plain is a basic bitch Knew I’d get mullered for that! The oatmeal-ness and chocolatey-ness combination just doesn’t work for me. Please excuse me while I shame eat a whole packet of basic bitch hobnobs. Quote
Merzbow Posted September 10, 2025 Posted September 10, 2025 Have they ever made a Hob Nob with a Caramac like coating? That'd go hard. Quote

That would make me twitch, and start speaking at double speed. I can't handle that level of sweetness these days. You're all wrong anyway. The proper, debauched Roman Emperor-level of Hobnobbery is dark chocolate Hob Nobs spread with lemon curd. Quote
deathrey Posted September 10, 2025 Posted September 10, 2025 Lemon curd????!!! My friend, are you ok? I do love a dark chocolate hobnob though Quote

That's sensational, but they should also lock you up because it might just kill me. Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted September 10, 2025 Paid Members Posted September 10, 2025 A regular snack I have is two chocolate Hobnobs, dark or milk, spread with peanut butter on the chocolate side, and put together to make a sandwich. Quote

Paid Members Chris B Posted September 10, 2025 Paid Members Posted September 10, 2025 I had a Guinness Zero and a packet of crisps yesterday near my work and it was over £9. At least it removes some temptation. Quote

Paid Members Lorne Malvo Posted October 27, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 27, 2025 Just went to KFC and had the Double Down 'burger' meal. Burger, regular chips and a bottle of water. £10.50! Joke. Quote

Burger, regular chips and a bottle of water. £10.50! Joke. Fast food places are starting to really price out their customers for some of their meals. I was in BK on Saturday for lunch and got one of their ‘cheapest’ meals, the Kansas BBQ King meal, doubled on the chicken burger (cornflake crusted fyi) with a halloumi fries chaser and that cost me £12 odd Quote
Shirtie Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 I've not had a McDonald's in years, The days of me going and getting a Quarter Pounder meal deal for £ 3.88 after collage are long gone Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted October 28, 2025 Members Posted October 28, 2025 *Old man shouty voice* I remember when the meal was £2.88! And you got a deal on the back of a London bus ticket (assume the rest of the country got it too) so every day after school I'd get a meal for a couple of quid. Until my sister got a job in the Kingston Burger King and became the best older sister in the world and would supply me and my mates with everything we wanted, God bless her. Quote
