Paid Members FLips Posted June 10 Paid Members Posted June 10 My mate sent me the 38-0 version the other day and the closest I’ve came is 30-4-4. Going unbeaten seems as impossible as not ending up with Leighton Baines in my squad. Quote

Paid Members Carbomb Posted June 10 Paid Members Posted June 10 I've discovered a problem with the game. Whenever he shows up, I can't resist sabotaging my run by picking Chris Bart-Williams. Quote
Paid Members johnnyboy Posted June 10 Paid Members Posted June 10 When it ticks into the 30s and you're still unbeaten but the lads go out on the piss as they've already clinched the league 🏆 CHAMPIONS — my all-time top-flight XI won the title with 100 pts (32-4-2) with Alan Shearer scoring 39. Can you top it on 38-0? https://38-0.app/r/EwWDuk4X Quote
Cousin Jim Bob Posted June 10 Posted June 10 My favourite strike force I have put together so far is Waddle and Haaland, who were devastating. I seem to constantly get Sol Campbell which is a big help. I also constantly get Oldham which isn't. Quote
Paid Members TheBurningRed Posted June 10 Paid Members Posted June 10 (edited) Yeah I’m always getting Sol Campbell and Southgate. I think John Terry might be the highest rated defender but I won’t pick him because he’s a wanker. Edited June 10 by TheBurningRed Quote
Tim Healys Chutney Spoon Posted June 10 Posted June 10 https://7a0.com.br/r/9N8HM3 Beaten finalist in the WC edition. Great lineups though Quote
Paid Members Scratch Posted June 11 Paid Members Posted June 11 My first go and I won the league with Phil Jagielka playing CAM Quote
Paid Members Statto Posted June 11 Paid Members Posted June 11 Been playing the World Cup one of these a fair bit the last week. Slightly sceptical of the fact I won it with ease first time but since even semi-final appearances are much harder to come by with stronger line-ups "on paper". Then last night went into one with a very dodgy looking defence expecting very little, but made it to the final comfortably beating some impressive sides along the way. Then lost 1-0 to 2010 South Korea in the final. Quote
RedTwoster Posted June 11 Posted June 11 (edited) So Danny Rohl looks set to leave Rangers to join Red Bull Salzburg. I’m slightly worried the knock-on from that would be Derek McInnes replacing him at Ibrox. Rangers would be mad not to at least consider it if Rohl does leave. Edited June 11 by RedTwoster Quote
Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted June 11 Paid Members Posted June 11 I built a 71-rated all-time top-flight XI and went 3-9-26 (18 pts) on 38-0 featuring Alex Telles ⚽ Can you go unbeaten? https://38-0.app/r/CmFvjqfz I've been trying to build the worst team. 18 points is pretty bad. Quote
Briefcase Posted June 11 Posted June 11 Wolves have sacked Rob Edwards after bringing him in knowing they were Championship bound. The game has gone clive. Quote
Daaaaaad! Posted June 11 Posted June 11 There are two things that I think about this: 1) It seems really harsh on Rob Edwards considering how poor Wolves already were when he took over and the fact that surely he would be a suitable candidate for a run at the Championship 2) it absolutely serves him right for sacking Middlesbrough off shortly after essentially using them to restore his post-Luton relegation reputation Quote
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted June 11 Paid Members Posted June 11 If they'd sacked him before or at the end of the season, I wouldn't have been remotely surprised. It'd have been harsh but understandable that they wanted a clean slate. The fact they've done a Q&A since the end of the season presenting a united front and backing him, Andre (who absolutely should not be playing in the Championship) signed a new contract knowing he was the manager and then he was in the Raul Jiminez unveiling video only a couple of days ago makes it all very weird.
