TibBo Posted June 11 Posted June 11 I think wolves had 2 points when he took over? By the end of the season they were 2 points from climbing out of bottom place. It's still not a great result, but he really inherited a team that didn't stand a chance. Quote

Great lineups though https://7a0.com.br/r/VKFSYN Gone one better with the legend Tom Finney in the team Did the same as above with the worst team. I built a 70-rated all-time top-flight XI and went 7-9-22 (30 pts) on 38-0 featuring Andy Griffin ⚽ Can you go unbeaten? https://38-0.app/r/H9Z9S9mS Edited June 11 by Tim Healys Chutney Spoon Quote
Awards Moderator Frankie Crisp Posted June 11 Awards Moderator Posted June 11 (edited) I think i’m going to have to buy a boatload of Imodium and leave opened packets in the bathroom so the missus thinks there’s a good reason I’m spending twenty minutes at a time on the shitter. Best I’ve managed so far: Fucking Des Lyttle. Edited June 11 by Frankie Crisp Quote

So you're playing 0-38? Quote
Awards Moderator Frankie Crisp Posted June 15 Awards Moderator Posted June 15 We’ve just announced Pierre Sage as our manager, which is delightful news. Our biggest task this summer is retaining as many players as we can, and given what he’s done at Lens it may encourage Kamada, Munoz and importantly Wharton to stay. Before he was in the frame the bookies had Southgate and Lampard as some of the front runners so this is a huge relief; I’d rather they plugged Roy Hodgson in than either of those two. A long Europa League run under Sage could be on the cards if he settles in well. Quote

Even once haggled down to £80m it seems crazy to pay that when you can probably get his Spanish or French equivalent for half that. If Palace aren’t under pressure to sell they should fleece Liverpool or United. Munoz is of an age where you won’t get much for him but he won’t be able to command a massive contract so you might be his best option of a bumper pay rise. Quote

There's a 15% sell-on clause, which is one of the reasons Palace will inflate his price. There's a reasonable chance he stays this summer if Palace don't need the cash, as it looks like the only clubs big enough to shop in that market are prioritising other targets for their midfields. If he leaves, my guess is it would be for Liverpool. Quote

Might just be me, but I hope Wharton stays there until the end of his contract and leaves on a free. The club doesn't deserve to make another penny from his name the way they bundled him out of the door to the first bidder just to pay the bills. Quote

How they managed to get through a fit and proper owner's test is beyond me. Mind you if the Saudi government can, anybody can... Quote
luffy Posted June 22 Posted June 22 I gave the 38-0.io version a go as well: https://38-0.io/ Somehow built a team with Van Dijk as MVP and Best Pick, De Bruyne up front, Salah behind him, Aguero, David Silva, Kante, Terry, Lampard and Ederson… and still only ended up 14-18-6 on 60 points. Eighteen draws is absolutely criminal. Going 38-0 feels impossible unless the game gives you a perfect draft and a small miracle. Quote

Apparently we told him at 11.58pm last night, where a clause in his contract would've expired on the 1st July. Quote
