Arteta is an absolute moron for letting Eze take a penalty, not doing his homework, because he usually does that daft stutter run-up and always misses 2. Cousin Jim Bob Posted May 30 Posted May 30 I thought the two highlights of the game were the ref getting wound up so much watching Arsenal do their 5 minute "you take the throw in, no you take throw in" routine at the end of the first half. That when they immediately won a corner, as Saka was trudging over in slow motion to take it, he blew the whistle for half time. The other was right after half time when Mosquera was taking 5 hours to take a simple throw in, the ref said "fuck this" and booked him. Can we have some more of that next season, please Premier League referees ? The rest was shite. Quote

We've gone quarters, semis, final in the last 3 years, progressing forwards so I suspect we'll be back there again and when we do win it, it'll taste even sweeter. This feels different to 2006 when it felt like one last great run from a brilliant team who were soon to need rebuilding. This is another step on the journey. Also we won the league, and the table doesn't lie. Best team in the league. 1 million at the parade. Only London team in the Champions League. Fuck it, I would have bitten your hand off if offered that in August. Can't complain. Quote
