Absolutely pissed myself laughing out of disbelief more than anything. Surely to Christ the coach can’t be teaching them that and it’s just something they’ve picked up from watching on telly? I remember the stories in the press, but not the details. Wasnt the "plan" to actually knock the stadium down and rebuild? Thats the reason I always thought it was bullshit, as that would be a huge waste of money when they actually owned most of the land WHL was on. Quote

I was hoping they’d have got another season out of their key players with the promise of Europe and perhaps even another title challenge, but I completely understand why a player would cash in on their success now. What I found funny was the way De Zerbi celebrated, stopped and looked awkward. He already looks like Brent and I thought that moment was very Brent. Spurs are a massive club in English football. That's what makes manager's and player's celebrating narrowly avoiding relegation amusing to me. Quote

He got one sniff of losing to Celtic in a title race and decided he wants it every year. In all seriousness its a great move for Rangers on paper. It reminds me of what Fergie used to do and just go out and get a top striker already established in the league. Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke, Teddy Sheringham, Robin Van Persie etc. He's 30 though.
