AshC Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Yeah, he cashed in and then got beat by Lashley, just before the crowds came back. Did he win the case off of Otis somehow, who won the ladder match at Titan Towers? Quote
Paid Members Statto Posted February 4 Paid Members Posted February 4 Coorrrrr-ECT, as Miz & Morrison were saying at the time. They nicked the briefcase (lunchbox) off Otis, then Miz won legit possession of it in a match when Tucker turned on Otis (then promptly disappeared forever). Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Lashley used miz to get the belt from Drew, He also helped him win, then using that "favour" for a WWE title match which he then beat Miz for. Such a long winded way to get Drew vs Bobby Quote

Forgot about that Tucker turn and brief heel run! They had two Tuckers at the same time for a bit, didn't they? And neither were Mark Fowler from Eastenders. Quote

Paid Members tiger_rick Posted February 5 Paid Members Posted February 5 Similarly, I was doing the IC Champions quiz for the 100th time (and I still can't EVER remember Ken Patera) and I was stunned to see Jeff Hardy had a run in 2020. Quote
The Dart Posted February 5 Posted February 5 I remember a few months ago being absolutely baffled to learn that Kofi Kingston & R-Truth were once tag team champions. Not only were they tag team champions, but they were for 5 months. They lost them to Daniel Bryan & Kane, which should be memorable, but it's not. Quote

That’s one I actually do remember, as it was the start of Bryan being super over. They sort of stumbled into Bryan and Kane having great chemistry and pretty much hotshotted the belts onto them as Kofi and Truth weren’t doing much. Quote
Snitsky's back acne Posted February 5 Posted February 5 I couldn't think of the best place to put this but, seeing as it was 30 years ago today, I figured some people may not remember or have even been aware this even took place. I have highlights from this show on DVD, along with the 6 man the Michinoku Pro wrestlers had the next night in Croydon. Danny bagged a couple of Michinoku Pro tours later that year from this show too. Quote
King Mal the Glorious Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Is that what led into the infamous Sasuke vs Dirtbike Kid match? Quote

Wasn't that the time WWE put up a survey for the fans to decide what name their team should have? I specifically remember one of the options being "Ghana Get Got". Quote

Yeah it was the standard "We have two black people with nothing going on, they have nothing in common whatsoever but let's make them a tag team because they're both black" thing that they've done a fair amount of times over the years.
