I watched the game with my Spurs supporting Brother-in-law. He's still crying.

A truly awful game between two truly awful teams, won by the worst goal scored anywhere this season. I had a great time.

Spurs had a better season than City and Arsenal. Excellent.

Shared a beautiful moment with my 12yo as it sank in that we were about to win it. It was when it hit the side netting and went out for the goal kick.

And I just looked at her and said "mate we're gonna fucking win this" and we embraced and had a bit of a cry (well, I did) No one else I'd have wanted to share that with, as while football is a communal experience, it's the personal moments that mean the most to me.

Absolutely made up for her as she will absolutely bowl into school in the morning with bragging rights for once. 

Made up for every single Spurs fan, the ones I know out in Bilbao, the ones at WHL tonight and all of you sods in here. We deserve this.

We're going to the game Sunday, and absolutely cannot wait to see them walk round with that trophy.

Mate, Spurs have always been the "other" team i wanted to win but I'm not a supporter. BUT even I was in tears last night!

In an era where knock-off football shirts are absolutely fucking magnificent, I saw two horrendous examples in the pub last night. The first was a knock-off Man Utd 1992/93 shirt that was all completely sublimated, unlike the real thing, so the laces where the only thing with any texture and then to top it off, it had BECKHAM 7 sublimated on the back. Another lad had a Man U shirt from a couple of years ago, but again it was a completely sublimated version, like the knock-offs you'd get from markets on holiday 20 years ago and to top this one off, he had RASHFORD on the back.

Delighted for Spurs. A great club who are unfairly the butt of jokes for years while being a well-run club who have grown about as organically as anyone in the Premier League, living within their means and challenging for honours. Both teams have had a terrible season but it's been funny for the last couple of weeks to see all the "What have you won? Where are your medals?" dweebs completely U-Turn and cry that trophies don't matter if you're 16th and 17th in the league. Footy banter really is tragic these days.

Game was fucking shite but I quite enjoyed it. The utter sense of desperation and two seasons being on the line for both teams, this and next. It created a great backdrop. I don't blame either side for not being able to perform under the pressure. You just win.

Have to say that Amorim's idea of throwing Kobbie Mainoo on for the last two minutes as an emergency forward was some real ten Hag shit. Get out of there, Kobbie. They're already ruining you.

I think seeing this is genuinely all I've ever wanted out of supporting this club. It feels like the culmination of what it means to be a Spurs fan for me.

His legs have gone, but there was a period where he could've left and walked into any starting 11 in world football (yes, in world football) and he didn't, he doubled down, signed his career to us and he's finally got his reward. Just elated for him.

I don't want to agree with this, but have to.

Obviously, I think we should be giving any manager the time he needs to really show what he can do with a squad of his making, but I have to say I'm doubting Amorim. When you're seeing Emery turn Villa around immediately with almost no spend, Pereira doing the same at Wolves, and, fucking hell, Moyes doing the same with Everton after looking obsolete at West Ham in his last season there, it's a tough ask to believe that Amorim's approach of "conform to my three-at-the-back or die" is that of a top-flight Premier League manager.

That said: what the fuck else is there to do? There've been old managers and young managers, established ones and non-established ones, foreign and home-grown, old boys and new boys, success stories and unproven guys, and it's all just been a slow, declining rot. The one thing that really needs to be done is the one that won't, i.e. that the Glazers get bought out or forced to sell. There's scant consolation in the FA banning leveraged take-overs when your club has been the example that led to that decision.

EDIT: It would never happen, especially not now, but I sometimes wonder if United shouldn't have made a move for Cristian "The Foul Prince" Romero. Throughout all the awful performances, it just seems like there's a need for a proper, old-school, midfield bastard, particularly when it seems Hojlund, despite being a big lad, gets bundled over on a regular basis. Casemiro's regained a bit of what he had, but he's not really that type.
