County losing on penalties is as inevitable as England losing on penalties but the complete opposite of absolutely hilarious. Should have turned it off after extra time.

Two Spurs boys who could win a trophy with Orient this season though!*

Decades ago, the away goals rule was abolished for the play-offs as it was felt it helped teams who'd finished lower in the table during the regular season.

Last night Stockport (who ended 3 places above Orient) would've made it to Wembley under the 1990s rules without the need for penalties. Then again, it wouldn't have mattered if the ref had got that offside decision right in the first leg anyway.

And the night before, Sunderland wouldn't have needed that last-gasp goal against Cov either because they'd already have been going through.

Just read up on the story behind Palace’s tifo yesterday. It’s wonderful stuff. From elsewhere . . .

The Eagles wrote: “After Darren Ambrose’s 40 yard screamer against Manchester United in 2011, the cameras panned to the away end and, amidst 3,000 supporters jumping for joy, found an adrenalised red-and-blue clad supporter, Mark Wealleans, screaming with passion while holding up two young Palace lads who — then nine and six-years-old — responded by bursting into tears.

“Tragically, Mark Wealleans, a proud south London and Season Ticket holder, lost his life in February 2017, aged just 49, five months after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Also saw some lovely pics of a load of Palace fans cleaning up Covent Garden after the fans had finished there. They all had black bags out and picked up more litter than they had dropped.

It's clubs and fans like Palace's on days like yesterday that makes you think 'despite all the money and that, football still is for the working class and they deserve the plaudits'. Glasner for manager of the year?
