Damn, burn one for Tony Todd.

Candyman is a great piece of work and he is fantastic in it. He was a really prolific actor, though, and seemed to pop up in a bunch of stuff. I remember him being in a three-episode arc in Homicide: Life on the Street and in an episode of the The X-Files, for example. Always a welcome presence who, as @LaGoosh points out, possessed an incredible voice.

RIP.

Absolutely loved Tony from an acting perspective. He just always brought something special. I loved how unique he was.

Another guy, much like Robert Englund, who I respected even more after being lucky enough to meet him and work with him at conventions. It's funny how some of the most disgusting and intense performers have been the nicest and most genuine people you could hope to cross paths with.

Even when cast in the shittyest movie, his performance always elevated it.  A real shame.

Not sure anyone has ever looked more like someone who ought to be crushed by a giant marrow in an episode of Midsummer Murders. A great face.

He was great in the Tales of the Unexpected episode called Royal Jelly.

One of the best ones.

Just one of those actors you just expected to always be around. Incredible body of work.

RIP.

I was absolutely sure he was already dead, a few years back. Then I racked my brains trying to figure out where my confusion came from. I’m pretty sure I got him mixed up with Tim Healy, of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet fame. So I looked him up to see when he died, and it turns out he’s alive and well. So I have no damn clue anymore.
