DavidB6937 Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 Looking forward to it. Not quite as nervous this time round! Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted July 17, 2024 Author Members Posted July 17, 2024 I'm glad you all enjoyed but from what I saw I thought it was absolutely awful and I'm surprised it's got a second series. Quote

I think the second season will decide if I actually liked it or if it just wasn't as bad as I was expecting the first time.. Quote

Top tier luxury TV. Quote

Paid Members LaGoosh Posted July 18, 2024 Paid Members Posted July 18, 2024 Second season? They haven't changed the name so surely it should be season 13? Quote
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted July 18, 2024 Moderators Posted July 18, 2024 (edited) They group them separately on the streaming platform, which I think is fair enough. It is confusing that they both have the same name though. Edited July 18, 2024 by Chest Rockwell Quote
WyattSheepMask Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 (edited) You’ve got Frasier (aka Frasier Classic) and Frasier 2023, Series 2 of which is coming in 2024. Pretty straightforward really Edited July 18, 2024 by WyattSheepMask Quote
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted July 18, 2024 Moderators Posted July 18, 2024 And black Frasier. Quote

organizedkaos Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 I assume it's a money thing. If it's a continuation of Frasier there'll be people who have royalties/contractual producer credits or suchlike. If it's a new TV show that's also callled Frasier (ala any remake) then that lessens the amount of people you have to pay out. Quote

I felt this way after the first few episodes, but I thought it really found its feet round about the episode Frasier and Freddie accidentally date the same woman. In the end, I really enjoyed it and I thought it did the original series justice. Out of interest, were you a fan of the original or were you watching it with fresh eyes? (I assume the former, but I’d be curious as to how a ‘new viewer’ would have found it) Quote

Paid Members Weezenal Posted July 21, 2024 Paid Members Posted July 21, 2024 Finally finished Cheers so I'll be starting Fraiser soon. I don't think I ever really had a comfort show but Cheers became that this year so hopefully Fraiser will take its place. Quote
