And I was being lighthearted as well, I'm not about to lose my head over Simon Moon! 😆 I just think he's fun. Daphnes mum can do one though. Quote

I'm having to reframe everything you post now with the new, previously never tested "this guy like Simon Moon" filter, so it will be bound to be a bit shaky at first. Edited June 27 by gmoney Quote

Chili Posted June 27 Posted June 27 Wasn't the joke meant to be that all of Daphne's brother's don't sound anything like Mancs or something. Fun idea for a joke but Simon Moon can fuck off to his namesake. Quote

Didn't that joke come about much later and it only came about as a result of Anthony LaPaglia being shit and the writers leaning into it? Quote

Oh you might be right, to be honest post Niles and Daphne getting together it all gets a bit blurred in my Frasier knowledge. Jane Leeves hardly had the best accent to begin with. Quote

TheScarlettChad Posted June 27 Posted June 27 Didn't help that Daphne changed and became more miserable and nasty. They completely ruined her character. Quote

Paid Members Gus Mears Posted June 27 Paid Members Posted June 27 (edited) I stop watching at the end of whichever series it is they get together. Show goes to pot. There are funny episodes, but I just end up watching them and thinking 'this is almost like when this show was one of the best sitcoms ever.' Edited June 27 by Gus Mears Quote
TheScarlettChad Posted June 27 Posted June 27 It's good quality lasted longer than friends at least.. Quote
NeverYield Posted June 27 Posted June 27 Very good memories of watching Fraiser with my Dad when I was younger. Love the show. Quote

But it's Dad, Cheers lasted an equal amount of seasons and maintained a superb quality. Though that's very much down to a big cast change incredibly pulling off and taking the show in a different direction that didn't ruin the essence. Edited June 27 by Chili Cast autocorrected to castle for some reason. NORM! Quote
