I saw he was in a hospice for end of life care because he hadn't been well, but when I saw he wasn't singer if Smash Mouth anymore I investigated and saw he'd been spouting antivax stuff and doing nazi salutes at some of their gigs so they replaced him. It's still no age to go, and like was already mentioned Walking On The Sun is a banger.

Never a major star with a tonne of hit records, he was nonetheless a significant part of the Texas country music scene in the 90's and 2000's. A really talented guy, I'd implore anyone who is a fan of Jerry Jeff Walker, Robert Earl Keen etc. to give him a listen. RIP.
