Then he can give him advice backstage on how to physically attack a colleague and have the fans gloss over it.

Who's glossing over It? Storyline wise, Eddie doing that would make sense, seeing as his whole point was Punk being a prick.

Two separate situations that Eddie was suspended for, has publicly apologised for and also publicly taken 100% responsibility for. It doesn't make it right, but you're painting it out like fans are turning a blind eye to what Eddie did and he has gotten away with it without punishment.

Are you suggesting that fans hold wrestlers and indeed companies and their owners to different standards depending on if they like them? Surely not.

One of the big plus points for AEW when they launched was how they said they weren’t like other companies, they had proper structure and healthcare, they were progressive and not of the old “Pay your dues and know your place” mentality. What with the nonces, the politicking and the hierarchy it seems they aren’t all that different after all.

I am a bit, yeah. There were posts on here saying things like Khan's a twat for suspending Eddie. Whether he's apologised and served a punishment or not, I don't think it's right to lionise someone else who's very recently had their own violent outburst in the workplace.

The fact, they made a point to say that should have been a red flag. Let your actions speak. You're progressive? Show us! Don't just tell us you are.

Kingston definitely should not be rewarded. At least he owned his fuck up and took the consequences though.

If Punk is even moderately punished I wouldn't be shocked if he blows his top again and adds another eternal grudge to the list.

No idea about Omega and The Bucks but you'd think they are smart enough to take the Kingston road.

Then again it's wrestling and wrestlers so fuck knows.

How many wrestlers have been arrested and charge for crimes and been champions after? Answer, it’s a lot

Dynamite opens with Mox getting out of the shower. He grabs his World Title belt. His music hits. He’s the champion. He was always the champion. Stay tuned for later tonight when it’s Mox vs. Samoa Joe for the title.

It’s MJF I feel sorry for. Within 24 hours of his big promo moment Vince was gone, and now this.

MJF calls his shot. Punk no shows. MJF wins by forfeit. Chicken shit heel wins title without beating anyone. Holds it until The Boss wins the Rampage Rumble

Rumour that Punk could be fired today ...

From Fighful:

  • SRS has heard from reputable sources who have said they heard Punk was injured in the melee, though no one has outright told him to
  • SRS definitively states that Punk was "absolutely wrong" about the Elite leaking the Colt Cabana rumor to him, Dave, or Bryan
  • SRS says he sat on a story for 3 months that AEW talent had felt that Punk had cost Cabana his job and that the Bucks were the ones to save it. He reached out to Cabana for confirmation, who essentially told SRS that he didn't want to talk about Punk or the situation, so SRS was hesitant to publish w/o confirming
  • SRS says that no one is rushing to his DMs to defend Punk, though there are people who see his side
  • SRS says people believe Steel will try to get his job back at NXT but that's not expected to happen after the melee
  • SRS got a phone call from a very well-connected person in wrestling at 5 AM that Punk was under the impression that he was going to be let go. SRS noted that this person never broke news to him before.
  • SRS makes the point that Punk wants everything to be covered fairly yet won't talk to the media
  • SRS is asked about the Brian Last report that multiple people were suspended and that Punk/Omega talked. SRS says information is all over the map: he's heard Steel has been fired, Punk is supposed to have a meeting today and was expecting to be fired, etc. but cannot verify anything as of yet
  • SRS thinks that WWE will at least reach out to Punk if he were to be let go from AEW and see if an agreement could be made
  • SRS says that if he were Tony he would quickly launch an investigation and found out who was at fault in totality, especially with the physical aspect, and then suspend talent and fire Ace Steel
  • SRS spoke with a top WWE talent that said they need AEW to thrive for the sake of the entire industry and fear another monopoly even with HHH at the helm
  • SRS says the call he got last night implied that WBD was not happy

Ha, can you imagine. Triple H and Punk hate eachother. Even if he did sign Punk would be gone in six months top.
