LSM
Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere and I've missed it. Looks like Ric is getting ready for those top rope bumps! Â Â
RoryT
Once again, I'd pay to see it live. He's like the rolling stones of wrestling, he'll probably do a world tour.
Keith Houchen
And we know which part of him represents Bill Wyman.
Paid Members Nick James Posted June 6, 2022 Paid Members Share Posted June 6, 2022 I wonder what coaching Jay is getting in return from Ric.
Paid Members Surf Digby Posted June 6, 2022 Paid Members Share Posted June 6, 2022 Ric, maybe now is the time to try wearing knee pads the way they were intended?
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted June 9, 2022 Paid Members Share Posted June 9, 2022 Anybody buying the PPV?
Merzbow
To be fair that's including Starrcast which makes it around ten shows in all, still shouldn't be quite that much tho. Edited June 9, 2022 by Merzbow
Paid Members Chris B Posted June 9, 2022 Paid Members Share Posted June 9, 2022 Yeah, that's the super-deluxe package where you get a bundle of shows plus part of the ring canvas. While I'm not interested in seeing it, the actual cost for the show itself is more in-line with what you'd probably expect. Â

Paid Members air_raid Posted June 24, 2022 Paid Members Share Posted June 24, 2022 Have I missed something or do we still not know what the actual match is?
Infinity Land
Don't think it has been announced. Wolves v. MCMG Josh Alexander v. Jacob Fatu were confirmed.

Not yet. At one point it was rumoured to be against Ricky Steamboat, but he's turned it down, and at one point it was meant to be Ric Flair & FTR vs. Rock N Roll Express and someone else, but haven't heard anything more on that front. Kurt Angle apparently suggested that it might be just Flair vs. Ricky Morton. Hogan's name was thrown around, but surely that would overshadow Flair? Wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being with Jay Lethal, considering Flair's been training with him. As long as he's Black Machismo, in a move for move recreation of their Mania VIII match. Although Lethal defending a substitute for Liz from Flair's advances would be a bit "hashtag awks." David
Putting everything else aside, for him to go from this... To this.... Can only be a good thing. It wasn't that long ago that it wasn't looking good for him, so regardless of the sense in him actually wrestling another match, the actual real benefit is the drive it seems to have given him to get his shit together somewhat. If it took the goal of "one last match" to get him back in shape and seemingly enjoying life again then it's already been well worth it.
