The centre of the plate should be for the best part of the breakfast, and that is never the beans. Feels like a sliding safety move, I'll allow it. 3 hours ago, Chilly McFreeze said: Feel like this picture speaks for itself. Tremendous looking fry-up! Were the three hash browns standard, or a special request? Quote

King Coconut Posted May 2, 2025 Posted May 2, 2025 It's bordering on the perfect fry-up but we can't just allow big ramekin to annexe the middle of the plate like that. Quote
Paid Members Chilly McFreeze Posted May 2, 2025 Paid Members Posted May 2, 2025 Ok so some context. it’s from a cafe on the Norwich ring road tucked behind Mattressman. it’s outstanding. 3 bacon, 2 sausage, 3 hash brown, 2 eggs, beans, mushroom , tomato and 2 rounds of toast. £15 Ingredients were top tier. Some of the best sausages I’ve ever tasted. Only thing that let it down was the eggs were a tad over done and no black pudding. But it’s easily 9/10 regarding the beans. I too prefer them on the dryer side but if it’s in a ramekin it’s all good because I can control the juice content myself. And it was a fucking big fry up so I found I needed every drop on the end. Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted May 5, 2025 Awards Moderator Posted May 5, 2025 A pre-brown sauced breakfast-for-dinner. I don't have black pudding nearly enough. No beans because they are rank. Quote
Paid Members Callum1993 Posted May 5, 2025 Paid Members Posted May 5, 2025 Two black pudding and only one bacon? For shame. Quote

d-d-d-dAz Posted May 6, 2025 Posted May 6, 2025 I took a lot of (dry) heat from this forum for my food opinions, but there's a lot of absolutely textbook dry-ups being posted that I absolutely approve of. Quote

Moderators neil Posted May 12, 2025 Moderators Posted May 12, 2025 Gary Eats review of Morrison's fry-up. I thought it looked pretty decent for a supermarket breakfast, but Gary weren't that impressed. Quote

Sausage nice, but small. Everything else ok, but will be sticking to spoons in future. Here is my review of the Morrisons brekky from A few months ago. No plans on going back. Quote
