Paid Members Boycie Posted December 6, 2025 Paid Members Posted December 6, 2025 Also, I love black pudding. If you get one of a decent quality then it makes the breakfast for me. Quote
Paid Members Thunderplex Posted December 11, 2025 Paid Members Posted December 11, 2025 The Gateway spoons in Didsbury. Excellent this morning. Always happy with what they serve, but it was specially good today. Quote

Awards Moderator Frankie Crisp Posted December 11, 2025 Author Awards Moderator Posted December 11, 2025 Had this monstrosity in York at the weekend. First off, don’t cut sausages up like that unless you’re putting them on toast… especially if you only give me one cold piece of sourdough. You’ll also notice that it arrived with one yolk already popped… whilst the other, when trying to do the same, resembled a jaundiced bollock. Bacon was alright, the rest was crap, the juice came in a jar and immediately after I had to suffer the Christmas Markets. Shite hour all round. Quote
Moderators neil Posted December 12, 2025 Moderators Posted December 12, 2025 I like how they've taken a high brow approach with sourdough, butterfly sausage, and poached eggs just to give you a thing of flora Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted December 17, 2025 Members Posted December 17, 2025 This all looks absolutely wonderful, and all made from scratch. And them enjoying their full English, really heartwarming. Quote
Paid Members SpiritOfTheForest Posted January 2 Paid Members Posted January 2 (edited) The Partick Breakfast at Bag O'Nails, Glasgow. Absolutely sensational. Not pictured is a second plate with a hash brown (standard) and a huge home made tattie scone (incredible). This breakfast was huge and contained an enornous butcher's quality sausage, fried egg, bacon, haggis, black pudding, square sausage, hash brown, tattie scone, tomatoes, mushrooms and beans. Honestly one of the best breakfasts I've ever had and kept me full all day. The breakfast is £12.95 which seemed great for both the quality and quantity. I got a pot of tea with it and the final bill was just over £15. I got the inspiration for this place from a Greeno Eats video and I fully second his recommendation! davertfnewman Posted January 2 Posted January 2 That looks sad. I know they do different size and price versions, but if you asked for baked beans I imagine they would've kept it single figures. Quote

Not sure if being closest to the camera makes it look even larger, but you appear to have been served a baby's arm. Edited January 3 by johnnyboy Quote
King Coconut Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Won't be long before they're doing beans on toast in a fucking ramekin. Quote
