Hmmmm. It could definitely be fancied up with one of those scone cutters

Who puts the beans in the ramekin?

Who cooks tomatoes right from the tin?

I know it was several posts ago at this point, but can I please just express my awe at that girthy sausage on the last page. The finest specimen in 70 pages.

Some of the fancier establishments have a habit of putting beans in a ramekin and then placing it on the plate.

Do they hate you?

Probably, most people do.  Why do you ask, it was lovely!

To be fair, Plexy, the juxtaposition between Spirit of the Forest's brekkie to your wilted todger and sad egg was really stark. And I say that as someone who doesn't inherently hate Spoons breakfast.

The Partick Breakfast at Bag O'Nails, Glasgow. Absolutely sensational. Not pictured is a second plate with a hash brown (standard) and a huge home made tattie scone (incredible). This breakfast was huge and contained an enornous butcher's quality sausage, fried egg, bacon, haggis, black pudding, square sausage, hash brown, tattie scone, tomatoes, mushrooms and beans. Honestly one of the best breakfasts I've ever had and kept me full all day. The breakfast is £12.95 which seemed great for both the quality and quantity. I got a pot of tea with it and the final bill was just over £15. I got the inspiration for this place from a Greeno Eats video and I fully second his recommendation!

Leave my wilted todger out of this Gus, age comes to us all and I’ll be laughing my fucking head off at yours when your my age, if I’m not dead.

As for the breakfast, there is a £9 difference.

Which incidentally is the weight of that gargantuan sausage.  (4.1kg in new money)

Won't be long before they're doing beans on toast in a fucking ramekin.

Funnily enough... I've seen that.

I was 10 years ago, they reply was "Some people don't like there toast to get soggy"

My youngest has scrambled egg WITH toast, for this very reason. She'll still eat the egg and toast at the same time, but she complains of soggy toast when the egg sits on top. Donut.

11 quid in London for this at Pinner Cafe close to Kings Cross. Not the best but absolutely hit the spot when I was fresh off a red-eye. This was the "Full Breakfast" - egg, bacon, sausage, black pudding, mushrooms, beans, fried slice, tomatoes, bread and butter and mug of tea. Absolutely destroyed this.
