Ignore if it’s meant to be like that. Edited December 24, 2022 by Mr_Danger Quote
RIDDUM_N_STYLE Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 Deleted it now, thanks for heads up @Mr_Danger Quote
MungoChutney Posted December 25, 2022 Posted December 25, 2022 This was our Christmas morning effort. Needed some ketchup due to lack of beans but look at the size of the slab of square onion sausage. Quote
Awards Moderator Frankie Crisp Posted December 29, 2022 Author Awards Moderator Posted December 29, 2022 Still can’t get into that fancy place with their nonsensical queues, but had this cracker in Crosby yesterday. Poured the beans from the ramekin and moved it out of sight so I didn’t give Butch a festive aneurysm. Quote
MungoChutney Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 Visiting friends in Greenock and had this today. Ramekin daft down here obviously but very tasty and under a tenner. Addition of haggis and tattie scones elevating it above any breakfast not containing these items. Quote

That sausage looks incredible. Only negative on here is the poncy tomatoes. Quote

I’d usually expect two, but they got it right with just adding one as it was very rich. Smoked pork, leek and apple. One of the best breakfasts for ages but yeah, proper tomatoes would have topped it. Quote
Keith Houchen Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 I did sausages in the air fryer. Absolute game changer. Quote

Paid Members Thunderplex Posted December 29, 2022 Paid Members Posted December 29, 2022 No, but I had a copper non-stick pan for a while. Great for the first month then they become shit. Quote

If you're around that side of Scotland then Elderslie Coffee Shop is possibly the best fry up I've had. All the meat is from the butchers next door which is owned by the same people. Very reasonably priced too. Quote
MungoChutney Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 We were only in Greenock for an overnight. I think their sausages and other meats were from a local butcher too. Quote
Paid Members BigJag Posted January 12, 2023 Paid Members Posted January 12, 2023 Not 100% convinced that the vine tomatoes are necessary. Doesn't detract from what would that would be a very impressive spread at a Breakfast buffet. Quote
