I saw the above graphic floating around on Twitter so thought I might as well create a topic for this show. Cracking lineup. I’m interested in every match. Especially with the added bonus of a full capacity crowd to react to everything. It’s nice to have a PPV to look forward to and be excited about.

Assuming Britt Baker is winning, I think the women’s match is the one to headline with. Her celebrating with the belt would be a great closing shot. Might as well get blood again, just to hammer it home. Ultimately, I just don’t want them finishing the show with a special effect that can go wrong. I’ve had my fill of them, thanks.

I go back and forth on the Tag Title match. Whilst I think Santana and Ortiz are the right team to eventually take the belts from the Bucks, I can’t help but get sucked into the story and characters of everyone involved and want to see Mox and Kingston take it. Not enough has been said about how pitch perfect the Bucks have been since turning heel. They’re an amazing pair of pricks. I’d love nothing more than for Kingston in particular to wreck these knobheads and leave with both the belts and another few pairs of shoes. It’d make a nice little arc if Mox and Kingston get to go show Eddie’s mum the belts. “The reason I didn’t give you any grandchildren is COZ OF DIS! The reason I didn’t give you a daughter in law is COZ OF DIS!”

Ethan Page or Scorpio Sky have got to tease the Buckle Bomb on Sting, surely? Imagine the heat!

I’m trying my hardest not to imagine Bryan Danielson or Andrade as the Joker, but I can’t help myself. If either were coming in then surely this is the perfect time and place? Failing that, I saw on Twitter that they’ve created some entrance music for Negative One. I wouldn’t be against letting that kid run in and smash everyone with a kendo stick.

Also, of course, I’m hoping Cody gets absolutely murdered and he doesn’t return until they tour the UK and he can do the Rocky 4 rematch with Ogogo as the super babyface. If he can change, and we can change, everybody can change.

I reckon Andrade is more likely than Bryan for the Joker slot.
If/when they bring Bryan in, that’s your show closing moment like how they brought Moxley in, not in a multi man match mid way through the show.
Id try my luck at a different Casino though as apparently everyone is the king of spades.

As I’ve mentioned in the Dynamite thread, I’m also hoping that Cody gets absolutely destroyed and sent packing for a while. Unfortunately it will mean that he gets to do a ridiculous return angle like he did after getting battered by Brodie Lee, but it’s inevitable because it’s Cody and he has to remind us that he’s a star all the time.

I’m still not totally onboard with Stadium Stampede 2, but that could change following the go-home this week and how it works into what I’m assuming will be the actual feud ending match between Jericho and MJF.

The rest of the card looks really solid though. Omega is obviously winning, and I can see The Buck retaining with Kingston taking the fall, which won’t do him any harm. I think there will be big questions asked though if they don’t pull the trigger on Britt Baker.

I totally agree with that, but I don't think they'll do it, which is really disappointing. It absolutely is the right choice though, and if it doesn't happen, it's slightly disappointing that they seemingly don't realise what they have with this match, or how much momentum Baker carries right now.

Someone else suggested it earlier in the thread, but I'd love it to be Paul Wight. Omega vs. Christian doesn't interest me in any way, but Omega vs. Wight is a genuinely intriguing combination.

EDIT: And as it turns out, someone mentioned Wight in the post immediately above me.

I wonder how they will work the stadium stampede, will it be a case of for the live fans they will show it on the screen or will they let them walk across to the stadium and sit in there while a video package or summin plays.

either way i am really looking forward to seeing a ppv of theirs with a live crowd again.

Having Paul Wight on the graphic as is either them wanting to add some speculation to who the wild card is or it is them thinking they are being really clever when it turns out it is him.

I wonder if they're going to continue the gimmick from Christian's signing that Paul Wight always has the inside info on this stuff before anyone else. It makes sense to get him on the show in some capacity, though - he's a recognisable name they can stick on the match graphic, and they must be paying well over the odds for him to just work a YouTube show, so best get him on the PPV.

I'm not expecting him to be the wild card, but I do wonder if they'll have something happen in/around this match to kickstart his first feud with someone. Maybe someone getting in his face after they've been eliminated or something.

I did have Speedball Mike Bailey down as my prediction for the wildcard, but he's apparently looking NXT-bound now, so I don't know. Apparently they wanted Nick Gage for an earlier one, so maybe they'll bring him in off the back of Dark Side Of The Ring. It doesn't feel like they've hyped it enough for it to be Bryan or Andrade, but maybe they think it's a big enough card to risk having one of them as a full-blown surprise, so they get the "holy shit, I'd best not miss the next show" spillover.

Following Christian's debut, I imagine they're going to lean towards under-hyping surprise debuts rather than over-hyping them.

I'm assuming Stadium Stampede will be a mixture of pre-recorded footage and then the guys, "spilling out," to the ring for a live bit near the end. I genuinely don't know how you could do that match fully live and with fans.

Damn that card is almost too stacked. Stupid thing to complain about I know. All credit to them that they've booked everything so well.

I'd love to see the women main event. It's the first time I've felt like they've got themselves into the position where it's a genuine main event rather than just a token one to prove they can.

Hoping the tag title match opens the show and Mox & Eddie win the belts. Would be the perfect feelgood moment for their first show back with a full crowd imo.

Guess I'm the only person who doesn't think that Baker/Shida feels like a PPV headliner.

Then again neither does the world title match to be honest.

Looks like a really fun card.

It's a shame the Triple Threat World Title match has had such little build up. Considering the talent and characters involved, I wish they'd started hyping that match a lot sooner and put a lot more effort into it. Is Pac still flying back and forth to Newcastle? I wonder if a lack of availability with him was the problem. Either way though, I feel a lot more should be made of it than just Omega trying to get Cassidy to forfeit. Fingers crossed for a big angle or promo on Friday. But yeah, remember when people were arguing Orange Cassidy wouldn't work in a nationwide, mainstream promotion? Lad is headlining a PPV for the World Title and doesn't feel out of place at all. *limp thumbs up*

Chances on this being the end of the Inner Circle? I half want Ortiz and Santana to go off on their own now, but I worry greatly for where Hager would end up solo. Almost his entire appeal is as the dumb jock in a group. It feels like 50/50 booking to have The Pinnacle lose here after winning Blood & Guts, which isn't usually AEW's style. Ideally, if they use the same settings for Stadium Stampede as they did last year, I'd love for Hangman to be sitting at the same bar drinking, refusing to get involved as everyone scraps around him.

I'm hoping they start the show with the Battle Royale, opening the broadcast with Jungle Boy's entrance. Put Taz on commentary just to sing along with the crowd. He'll be over the moon.
