davertfnewman Posted August 25, 2025 Posted August 25, 2025 I went to see Angelos and Barry's New Power Generation show a few years ago at a small place in Wolverhampton. Hilariously funny, but at one point in the show, when Angelos knocks back a bottle of cider so he can enter the "spirit world" and commune with dead celebrities, an old rocker kept on shouting out "He's touching my arse! Stop touching my arse!". Turned out the guy behind him couldn't keep his feet still and his foot was hitting this guy's backside through the gap in the folding chair. They almost had a fight about it when the show ended. Angelos and Barry themselves really took it in their stride and put it down to the ghost of Kenneth Williams touching the guy up, as you would. He's HeelsvsBabyface, who manages to spoil any episode of Critical Drinker that he's on with his voice and smugness. And from what I understand, he could probably do with taking it easy because I don't think he's always been in the best of health. Quote
