We did one in college whilst driving around Rhyl set to the theme from Taxi Driver and unsurprisingly we hardly had to edit it to make it fit with the music. Quote

I mean, I barely knew of a lot of the people and issues talked about in it, yet at no point was I lost. The guy's just great. Only an hour into this as taking it in parts, but my god this is incredible. YouTube gets crapped on by so many (uninformed) people but this is one of the best things I've watched this year, and shows just what fantastic content is on the platform. I probably watch more YouTube than any TV channel to be honest. The bit where the Fyre Festival "documentary" maker cites her source as 123Movies popped me big time. What a great video, and what a great creator hbomberguy is. Quote

What a great video, and what a great creator hbomberguy is. Since then I've watched his Roblox OOF and Autism videos and they're both just as good. Just superbly researched and accessible. Again, the former isn't something I knew anything about but it doesn't matter, that's how good an educator and essayist he is. Quote
Merzbow Posted December 18, 2023 Posted December 18, 2023 I love stuff like this, videos about hacking but old school hacking back when it seemed much cooler. Plus we all knew a guy that could "chip" your Sky or cable box. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted April 11, 2024 Members Posted April 11, 2024 Conan remains one of the funniest people ever. This is fantastic. Quote
Moderators neil Posted April 12, 2024 Moderators Posted April 12, 2024 Watched that last night, had me absolutely dying laughing. Conan cannot be defeated. Quote
Paid Members Gus Mears Posted April 14, 2024 Paid Members Posted April 14, 2024 (edited) Maybe this ought to be posted in the dull man thread, but I'm enjoying this very long and very boring series of Farming Simulator videos. Perfect fodder for the last 20 minutes before I go to sleep. The person making them isn't particularly interesting and often doesn't have much to say, so there's nice long pauses while he bales hay and plants fields for me to drift off to. 'Questionable priorities'. Apt. Edited April 14, 2024 by Gus Mears Quote
Cousin Jim Bob Posted April 19, 2024 Posted April 19, 2024 I think I liked one Vanity Fair video 10 years ago with some actor reviewing their career and it has recommended me all kinds of stupid shit from them since. This made me laugh today though. Bill Burr reviewing other comedians doing impressions of him. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted April 20, 2024 Members Posted April 20, 2024 How To Be Tough. Consistently the best YouTube channel. Some chippy content as well. There's also quite a bit of retro gaming stuff on there and a superb video of a reporter visiting Cuba and Castro in the early 60s. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted May 19, 2024 Members Posted May 19, 2024 Astros latest on when OJ Simpson made a "pranking" video is great as usual. Quote
Paid Members Jesse Posted May 25, 2024 Paid Members Posted May 25, 2024 I can't remember who recently spoke about it, but this seemed like the most appropriate thread. I've started On Cinema, going in order and using the amazing timeline website https://www.oncinematimeline.com and god it's so funny. Delighted to scroll down and realise there's a) so much of it, and b) it involves a trial at some point. I'm only on Season 1 of the show itself, excited to get through more. Quote

I'm excited for you starting on this journey, but at some point you're going to be sat there thinking to yourself, to quote a friend of mine on Letterboxd, "What the fuck is this and why can't I stop watching it?" Yeah my wife listened to me describe it (after asking why I was laughing) and said "It sounds awful, of course you love it" Quote
