"Seen this YouTube video, mate? It's well funny."

Imagine my horror when @neil closed the old YT thread last night, the day before I planned to once again casually drop one of my own videos into it, as though that's acceptable behaviour. Now I look like a right nobber by starting a whole new thread for it.

Anyway, dump your farting dogs and out of date sea shanty parodies in here, as this is the new YouTube thread.

And here's a video essay I did to conclude my dissection of Jim Davidson's mucky panto trilogy. Probably not worksafe.

Back in my formative years I consideredĀ pullingĀ one off to the image of that woman on that Sinderella case but decided to fast forward to the bit she pulls her arse out instead. Does she fuck, Jim DavidsonĀ you false advertising racist prick.

That was great @Astro Hollywood.

I'm embarassed to say there was a period during my teens that I found Jim Davidson funny and even got one of his VHS standup tapes for Christmas. Fuck knows what I was thinking, horrendous.

Don't feel too bad, I think there was some sort of national hypnosis going on. Prime time Saturday nights, and a Jim Davidson comedy snooker quiz ran for 222 episodes. Maybe they were putting something in the water.

Say what you want about Jim but I won't hear a word said against Big Break as a format.Ā

Or the theme song. Not only a Captain Sensible banger, but taken from a West End musicalĀ he did with the likes of John Hurt and Roger Daltrey.Ā

I started to watch it at dinner time just after Astro posted it, half an hour before a Zoom meeting, butĀ had to turn it off after ā€˜R2D2 having a wankā€™ because I knew Iā€™d be a giggling tit on the call if I saw it through. Going to resume it with a cuppa in the morning.

This was one of the last TV series I worked on. He was a miserable prick and tried to justify his wife beating. It was a 3 hour interview and never saw the final edit. No wonder I left the media world.

As an aside Piers was very polite to everyone which doesnā€™t give him a free pass of course.
