Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted February 2, 2021 Paid Members Posted February 2, 2021 That was wonderful. What I like about Herzog is that he's always interested in learning about and trying new stuff, he seems genuinely engaged with what he's being shown and drawing parallells with stuff that he knows more about. The interviewer was really good as well. Herzog is just an international treasure though, he makes me smile whenever he pops up in anything, always a mood lifter. Quote

I couldn’t help but drawing a parallel between trying to glide down a handrail and trying to move a paddle boat over a mountain because he described it in such a way. Yeah I know, ponce. Quote
Paid Members waters44 Posted February 2, 2021 Paid Members Posted February 2, 2021 (edited) That was great, thank you for posting. Chalk me up as another who wants to wrap Herzog up in cotton wool. A couple of years ago I saw a clip of him get shot by an air rifle as he was talking to Mark Kermode (no idea how the shooter managed to miss Kermode's big head) and as Kermode starts fretting Herzog simply says.... "It's not significant". Love him EDIT - Here it is Edited February 2, 2021 by waters44 Quote
Moderators Astro Hollywood Posted February 2, 2021 Author Moderators Posted February 2, 2021 (edited) I like this one of the time he got weirded out in a Q&A by a question submitted by some joker. Spoiler That joker was me! I submitted it. Once again I'm making the YouTube thread all about myself! Edited February 2, 2021 by Astro Hollywood Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted February 2, 2021 Paid Members Posted February 2, 2021 REALLY good film, that, by the way. Really need to watch more of his stuff. Quote
The King Of Swing Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 The Bizzare World of Fake Martial Arts. Crazy that this kind of thing hasn't completely died out and the cult comparisons are something that I had never considered before. Quote
Moderators PowerButchi Posted February 4, 2021 Moderators Posted February 4, 2021 The highlights of a parish council meeting held over Zoom. It's fucking hilarious. Quote
