Paid Members Supremo Posted June 4, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 4, 2025 It is interesting watching them have their cake and eat it. Both Ricky Starks and Mariah May have done the Scott Hall on Nitro thing, appearing out of nowhere with the commentators going, “oh my god, look, it’s them,” requiring the audience to watch and follow AEW in order to even recognise and understand. Counter-program and try and no-sell them as competition right up until you fancy getting a big surprise pop, then a wrestler’s work and stock that they’ve built in AEW suddenly matters. It won’t make much difference in the long run, but it is funny how much flack AEW used to get for randomly debuting talent without vignettes (“what’s the story, bro?”) and now WWE are doing it with AEW talent. With each passing day, Hunter seemingly makes it more and more difficult for the tribal, flag-waiving WWE hardcore nutters. Quote

Chili Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 A pro wrestler with a cake that won't end up all over somebody's face? Games gone lads. Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted June 5, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 5, 2025 (edited) After years of having to watch people sulk through their contract, post endless passive-aggressive bullshit on social media or flat out just moan in interviews about hating where they work? The last thing I’m going to do is slag someone off for earnestly being happy about where they work or being a fan of the promotion that hired them. Give me that all day long. I hope she bought that cake for herself. Be Will Ospreay or Mariah May. Never be Malakai Black or Rusev. Edited June 5, 2025 by Supremo Quote
