I don't necessarily agree with this assessment of Hendry, but even if it were the case, being a one trick pony that's old and stale doesn't seem to have stopped some current roster members making a success of it.

Edge/Cope would be a massive pop and probably cause ‘the sickos’ heads to explode at the thought of TK letting a talent go back there

Jeff Hardy would likely blow the roof off and would be a nice throwback given a lot of Solo’s in ring work tributes the late Umaga who Jeff had a great feud with

The only ones other than those 3 that could cause a nuclear pop would be Austin, Dwayne or HBK and that’s never happening

So Cena was struggling for a while and wanted to retire as a knock-on from that, I get that. But... he's been really good since working the top matches regularly again. It seems a shame to finish at this point, really. The Styles match, the Mysterio match, the Cody match at SummerSlam, the Punk match... it's been good stuff. He's got it back.

Calling Dolph Ziggler a “blast from the past” when he left 2 years ago and works for the company they cross promote as well. Christ.

Agree with this tournament for Cena, horrendous stuff. Just like the whole retirement run really save for a couple of matches.

Are there brackets for the tournament or is the next round completely at random? They couldn't have telegraphed it anymore who is winning could they?

Can't wait for Reigns/Lesnar at Mania, at last something fresh.
