Paid Members RedTwoster Posted November 25, 2025 Paid Members Posted November 25, 2025 They really should be doing better with Carmello Hayes. He’s tremendous in ring and has a boat-load of charisma. I don’t understand how’s he’s in the position he’s in when their upper card is fairly stale. They could easily give their main event scene a shake-up by elevating the likes of Hayes, Breakker, Dom and Ludwig Kaiser. Then in NXT you have Femi and Williams, who both seem ready for a run at the top of the card. There’s no reason why the company couldn’t pivot towards a youth movement, which would do them the world of good. Quote
DavidB6937 Posted November 25, 2025 Posted November 25, 2025 They're doing better than they were. He was pretty much dead on arrival on the main roster. Only recently they've managed to get the crowd behind him more and he's getting more opportunities. I think he's hopefully on a better path now but we'll see. Quote

Im still not watching WWE but did see some clips. A Mini John Cena? Has HHH found some old Vince scripts? Brock stacking it on the stage, couldn’t happen to a nicer person named 44 times in an ongoing sex trafficking lawsuit. No women’s match, the second show in a row without one. Indefensible. Poor Penta, they announce a Lucha Bros reunion and the next match he takes a nasty fall. Big talent, hope it’s not as serious as it looked. Quote

At the risk of sounding easily offended, when you’re aiming at a family audience, suggesting someone is worthy of laughing at because of their physical stature (or any other attribute they can’t help) isn’t the best thing to do. 1 hour ago, DavidB6937 said: They're doing better than they were. He’s looked like a midget on the main roster to be fair. I would not believe much of a sustained run of him beating top guys. There’s no doubt he’s talented but he’s also the epitome of what the old Cruiserweight division was made for. I know I sound like a dinosaur but I want my upper card and main eventers to look like they have a shot against anyone else on the roster. If they don’t have the size then at least some sort of legit technical background where I believe they can hold their own in a scrap. Bret Hart nailed it about wrestling being “too fake”. For me that applies to the believability of the wrestlers as much as the moves he was talking about. Quote
Paid Members Supremo Posted November 29, 2025 Paid Members Posted November 29, 2025 (edited) They’ve shot a female version of the corny Wrestlemania campaign, presumably to shut up all the bloody wokes complaining the first one was an all-male affair. Call me a cynic for thinking this wasn’t originally planned. At least they kept with the same theme. In the same way Punk, Roman, Cody and Brock had to play poker with imaginary cards, it seems the women are dining out on imaginary food, like the Lost Boys in, “Hook.” TKO clearly in even more debt than we realised! Cheapskates! Edited November 29, 2025 by Supremo Quote
The Gaffer Posted November 29, 2025 Posted November 29, 2025 Yeah Becky Lynch dressed as a villain from an Oceans movie totally does it for me. Quote

BarryOVega Posted December 2, 2025 Posted December 2, 2025 I don’t like to be negative about what’s really just a tv show I’ve watched on and off for most of my life but the criticism of War Games having no stakes couldn’t have been summed up better than Jey Uso being on the losing team then starting the night after as if nothing had happened, him walking round like a stereotypical mental homeless bloke out of a million films muttering to himself was pretty funny though Watching Raw while my missus was getting ready for work while that weird Million Dollar Baby promo with Maxxine and weird smirk Natalya was on was a bit embarrassing ‘why do you watch this shite?’ Indeed Breakker’s promo could’ve been a revelation if they didn’t tell us during and immediately after it that it was amazing and a standout moment for him, just let him do it and everyone would’ve seen how good it was, didn’t need the applause from Heyman and the announcers going Wow! Paid Members RedTwoster Posted December 2, 2025 Paid Members Posted December 2, 2025 I thought Raw was decent, and maybe it’s because my expectations were low and I’d change my mind after a rewatch, but I thought Gunther/Solo was WWE’s best TV match of the year by quite some way. The Breakker promo was strong, and the fact they’ve delayed a reveal on the masked man surely suggests that it can’t be a non-entity like Austin Theory. Imagine building up a mystery only for him to be the reveal? I’m not saying they wouldn’t do it, but it would be utter madness if they did. Quote

My concern here is that they are going to use the reveal to spin Punk off into something after dropping the belt to Breakker, and that leaves Breakker needing an opponent for Mania, which would presumably be a returning Rollins (rumblings seem to be he'll be back in Feb). I have zero interest for that as the Mania match. Doing Punk and Breakker in Jan suggests that won't be the Mania match, and it only removes any intrigue for it if they go that way. Quote
