Visionary, revolutionary etc.

Rollins is just the create a wrestler you first made on WWE attitude when you could stack the ratings, no selling, chin of iron and every move is a finisher. He's not bad, albeit with a heavy hand of bias, aside from the 3 way mania cash in - I struggle to remember any of his matches or a time he's been someone who made me gave a shit.

He just reminds me of an American teenager in a film, who thinks shouting and calling themself awesome and bad ass is charisma. Just awkward.

Another week where Joe Tessitore proved himself to be one of the best signings in all  of pro-wrestling in 2024. His authentic, unbridled joy for the War Raiders winning the Tag Titles was amazing. It’s like nobody has clued him in yet that it’s a work. I love him.

Good week for Punk and Seth, too. Still definitely the right call rushing through the midcard matches and sending Seth and Solo back to the kiddies table before Wrestlemania, but a good segment and a great brawl. Both Punk and Seth were definitely aware of the memes about their rubbish punches the other week because they were potato’ing the shit out of each other here.

Seems to be loads of excitement about the latest, “GABBO IS COMING,” vignette. Everyone assuming it’s teasing a Pentagon debut.

Somewhere, Fenix is having a right sulk. Hopefully, sooner or later he’ll figure it out. Learn from the best! The only way to get out of your AEW contract is to make Chris Hero cry!

But yeah, whilst there’s every chance Hunter breaks tradition with a Mexican star and actually makes something of Pentagon to spite to AEW, I think the code is there to be cracked. If you can figure out THE CLUES, his destiny is clear to see.

I feel like Fenix not coming over at the same time might be a blessing in disguise for Penta and possibly both of them. I know the joke of him just getting embroiled with the LWO is a real possibility, but I feel like they could do something really fun with him. And then if it flops it might be just in time for Fenix's debut anyway.

So IF it is Pentagon, will he debut on the Netflix Raw, or will they save him for Saturday Night's Main Event or the Rumble, I wonder.   Rumble seems a long way away, but it's not that long I suppose.

God what a red hot show that was. I’m still baffled by how huge the turnaround on Dominic Mysterio was, his face on this when Rhea called him a chicken tender slut was something else. Liv Morgan pulling out a megaphone was inspired.

The Seth/Drew/Punk dynamic is great, including the tie ins with the Bloodline. Actual solid character and story development, you’d never have thought it at one point.

Even Karrion Kross’ little stable is starting to click. I saw someone on Reddit describe the dynamic with The Miz as Walter White and Saul Goodman and I think that’s a really digestable way to make sense of it.

I’m not huge on War Raiders, but they’re a far sight better than Finn and Funko Pop. Hopefully we see some progress in the tag division now.

I enjoyed the Punk/Seth segment and brawl but I can’t help feel I see these pull-apart brawls every week that they’re losing their impact a bit. Trips is constantly booking them.

I’m slightly worried that the way Balor is being presented this show indicates a solo run on Smackdown, away from Judgment Day, is in his future. There are very few high level wrestlers that I find as frighteningly bland as him.

This is a key ingredient of H³ booking. Big pull apart brawl every show to pop the live crowd. It'll keep working because the live crowd wants to see it.

Fairly sure I saw somewhere reporting he was in line for a push but can't remember where.

Seth Rollins being scripted to say he took the WWE 'on his back' and 'made it more successful than it's ever been' suggests someone with authority actually believes that.

Good grief.

Like a limp lettuce leaf trying to take credit for the Big Mac.

What an unending gimp.
