I'm starting to think Seth has something on someone. He manages to weasel his way into all the top stuff. It's quite impressive really.

Probably more to being married to The Man. She’s got to be more important to them at this point then he is.

Yeah to be fair that would make more sense. I don't see him as a guy who'd be a massive loss if he went elsewhere but they'd probably be worried if Becky did.. although at this point I'm not sure she'd leave much damage either.

So I started my Week of Watching Wrestling with Monday Night Raw, eminating from Grand Rapids, Michigan! I thought CM Punk might turn up because for some reason I always think Chicago is in Michigan and it's not. Further confusion because of the lad with the 'Fire Eberf-lose' sign in the front row. I agree, mate.

The opening promo between Gunther and dashing Damian Priest was a good one. Priest's good on the mic like everything else. I'm not sure what I make of this character progression with Gunther but he's playing up to it superbly. Decent start.

The Damage Ctrl vs Pure Fusion Collective (the fuck?) tag match was not great aside from Dakota Kai, who looked great. And looked great. Shayna Baszler was out of position for every move in this match. She's still crap. Sonya Deville is one of those people who someone is going to soon post about on here in the Weird, Quirky thread that she's been with WWE for 49 years and we'll all go "Shit, it's felt longer." Did I mention Iyo Sky and the pirate are rubbish.

The New Day had another argument backstage. I'm bored of these even reading them on Bleacher Report. Someone let Pete Dunne near a microphone. Good god. R-Truth was funny.

The Kingston vs Dunne match was pretty good, though. The crowd clearly agree the latter should still be Butch, the only time he's ever been of interest. Still doing the finger shit. Ahh god. Still decent enough.

Bronson Reed and Seth Rollins had a brawl. Again. Wrestling will never understand the concept of having too much of a good thing. Ever.

Now about this Seth Rollins Bloodline thing. I don't know what people have seen or read for them to have all decided he's going to be in that match based off the answers he's given here but at least he would make some sense considering his previous involvement with them. It was a decisive answer, though, I thought? I know you all hate him that much that even the thought of him being involved is enough for you to require an oxygen tent but I just assumed Cody Rhodes and The Rock would be involved. And if you thought you were mad about Rollins' potential involvement imagine how I feel about box office poison Dwayne turning up with his knock-off AliExpress belt. Anyway, I thought Rollins' response was pretty funny and he was right!

Priest and Ludwig Kaiser had a cracking little match. Kaiser is really good, from what I've seen of him, his mannerisms are superb. He's having it off with Tiffany Stratton, isn't he? Good on him. He's earned it. Give him something decent to do.

I think there was some Judgement Day stuff but I can't remember what happened.

Final Testament time! Karrion Kross is a bit better on the mic than he used to be. The Miz can just run convincingly with any old shit. I'm all for the clusterfuck tag match they'll have with the Wyatts B. I was mostly watching to see Scarlett and Nikki Cross batter each other. I'm interested! In Final Testament! What the utter fuck. It'll be Baron Corbin next.... oh.

Thought the women's tag title match was excellent. They should never turn Rodriguez back babyface ever again. Cargill looked really smooth, which was interesting because that's not what I expect from her. Bianca Belair is just absolutely great at everything, I always enjoy her matches. Some good fuckery at the end that even Nia Jax couldn't balls up. Or Iyo Sky.

That was alright! Breezed through it and it was an easy, unchallenging watch with a cracking crowd. Could I do it every week? Possibly, but only at this length. Dynamite next!

God bless him, trying to make it work. You’re one of the best babyfaces of all time, Sami. You created a boom period out of thin air. But some things are impossible. Nobody can make me care about Seth Rollins.

That picture doesn't even hark back to a particularly great time for anyone, either. It certainly doesn't bring back fond memories.

"Hey Seth, remember when Roman felt dead in the water and nearly as bad as you? Let's run that back!:

Fucked it.

I've never been a cheerleader for Rollins but his potential inclusion in a multi-man schmoz at the...fourth?...biggest show of one of their hottest ever years isn't really bringing the walls down around me for them. To be fair though, post-Mania I've really stopped viewing the Bloodline as this sacrosanct thing that need to be handled with perfect precision. Honestly, I'm over the hill with it. Over the hill in that weird "But it's great business and everyone else is still into it so definitely keep doing it, but I can't say I'm too invested" way, which is probably why I don't mind Rollins getting involved.

I can see why it's not ideal and they could have done better but everything else just feels so made right now, I don't think they can really fuck with themselves too much.

It's like...I don't know...this generation's equivalent of Kane getting chucked into the big multi-mans for the title during a B-show month or Bret and Diesel's good friend Bam Bam helping out with a pest control problem. It's fine.

I think Rollins was a more egregious inclusion at Wrestlemania than he is here, but I agree that it seems out of place and waters down the match.

Triple H can't help himself booking "REMEMBER THIS?" stuff, though, so every time he has a chance to make an allusion to The Shield he will. Which feels like a daft move to me, because all it does to draw attention to how one of them isn't there. It's like Edge billing himself as "Brood Edge" but just on his own without Gangrel and Christian.

The Brood Edge stuff was kind of weird because it made it seem as if The Brood was an important, top group that dominated WWE when in reality they were pretty much just undercard jobbers who were over entirely because of their entrance and theme music, had no memorable matches or promos and only had a very brief six month run.

Possibly, but I'd argue he did the best work of his career to look like he belonged. He became more serious and sold like he was dead or dying over that weekend, he played a big part in how well it all worked. A glimpse into what could be with him, outside of the cackling herbert who dresses in the dark we normally get.

They’re turning Sami at War Games aren’t they? He seems far too enthusiastic to be making this reunion work whilst most the members are still treating him like shit. My money would be on him revealing himself to being in cahoots with KO. Hopefully not though, let Sami smile forever.

I wonder if they'll end up with Rollins and Reed taking each other out somehow before Survivor Series and there's a bait and switch there leading to involvement from The Rock and/or Cody or Owens instead. Personally a 4 vs 4 seemed like the way to go, but for some reason they've decided not to go that way.

Personally I hope not, simply because I love face Sami and I love him with Jey etc. BUT in terms of a potentially logical move it wouldn't surprise me too much. He went through a LOT with Roman - much like KO - and it could be an understandable revenge tactic. It wouldn't be the craziest thing in the world for them to do.

But then KO and Sami have had a million fights as well so it depends how you view it really. Enemies rarely stay enemies forever.
