So, it's definitely shit and utterly pointless. Completely get that.

But in the grand scheme of things, will it actually ruin anything? Will the crowd actually shit all over it because of a fifth man on each side?

I haven't read any social media responses because I don't hate myself but even Mania seemed to work and be successful and if they could turn all that around, I'm not sure this is going to have a massive impact on the delivery of the storyline/match.

So while some of us don't see this as necessary or whatever else, I think 'all time fumble' is probably a little drastic at this point. Only time will tell.

It really depends what standard we're holding them to.

If it is Seth, and all signs seem to be pointing that way from what I've seen today, then is this still going to be an enjoyable match and the fans will have a nice time? Yeah probably.

Is it a satisfactory conclusion to this particular chapter of what I'd consider one of the WWE's best ever angles? No, absolutely not. The quality of what has come before has created the conditions for this to feel so shit.

It's the equivalent of adding Greengrass from Heartbeat to the Avengers movie at the last minute. There's no need for him to be there, he doesn't belong there and no one besides his own family could possibly want him there.

Or, in a wrestling context, it's Wrestlemania, Limp Bizkit's My Way has just started playing and they've quickly announced its now a Triple Threat match between The Rock, Austin and Gillberg. Shite.

? I think you've fucked it, I do... ?

Surely if this War Games match is going to be 5v5 there are only 2 people who make any logical sense. Cody teamed with Roman at the Saudi show. To my mind he makes the most sense for that team. Then on the other team it hast to be Dwayne. Solo has been cosplaying as the younger version of him, its foreshadowing the Final Boss as the one who has put the New Bloodline together.

Now that is most likely cobblers but in my mind it would make the most sense. Rollins can definitely fuck off.

1) Greengrass > Star Lord.

2) Comparing Seth to Gillberg is a bit silly. He's annoying. He doesn't have many fans on here. BUT he's been constantly presented as a main event guy for a long time now - even as recent as Mania. So is he needed? No. Is he the worst person they could add to it? For some perhaps, but from a logical perspective or a general fan perspective I don't think it's the entire disaster you're suggesting it is, unless the fans turn against it and we won't know that for a while.

I'm not arguing for it. I think it's completely unnecessary but I still think considering it the biggest fumble of all time is a little OTT. I mean they came closer to that at Mania.

I think it comes down to you're opinion on Seth Rollins maybe.

But, I'm not exaggerating when I say the Bloodline saga has been one of my favourite wrestling storylines ever and Seth Rollins is probably my least favourite star wrestler ever. They're completely at opposite ends of the spectrum. I cannot stand him, I don't like his work, I don't like his presentation and I'd rather watch anyone bar him.

He's the turd in the punch bowl for me. Absolutely fucked it, they have.

If it's Seth and Bronson hopefully whoever goes into the match first the other just escapes the cage and jumps them straight away, have them brawling all over the arena while the War Games match takes place in the ring.

If you leave the cage you forfeit the match as Michael Cole will remind you 474 times.

Also didn't have The Final Testament being one of the most interesting things on the card on my bingo card.

And that's just the amount of times he reminds us before the match even starts.

The reason this five-on-five Seth thing is extra shit is because it’s such a throwback to the Dark Days, when everything was contrived shit. Hell in a Cell matches happened because it was the Hell in a Cell pay per view, not because the story actually dictated it. Rubbish.

The Bloodline Saga has been the complete antithesis of that. This brilliant, intricate, organic, well-plotted storyline, where characters have fully-fleshed-out relationships and motivations. And then that’s all thrown in the bin because someone decides it has to be five-on-five. Vince-brained bollocks. Completely dilutes and stinks up everything they’ve built.

Oh well. If we have the go back to those Dark Days, we might as well use the same tubby fella in the same cheap, Sports Direct tracksuit. Make the call, Roman! See if you can get a corporate tie in with “The Penguin.”

How has someone looked at that perfect graphic and gone 'yep, Bronson Reed and Seth Rollins will fit perfectly'.

Good grief.

I'm starting to think Seth has something on someone. He manages to weasel his way into all the top stuff. It's quite impressive really.
