She's certainly not the best they have ever had like I've seen plenty say, also not the worst. Just indifference. Lillian Garcia again in the same sort of bracket, not really an upgrade but no worse either in my opinion. Unlike it seems plenty on here the ring announcer has zero bearing on how I enjoy a show. Except for the crying announcement of course, would much prefer that call for a new world champion after 4 years to to be full of excitement. Quote

Paid Members Statto Posted October 28, 2024 Paid Members Posted October 28, 2024 As a non-fan, I don't know whether I look more or less favourably on putting on the accents for the Imperium intro, crying for the Cody announcement etc when viewed through the lens that it was likely her trying to show off her range in order to get a GM role. There was a time when leaving WWE and saying "I wanted to do x but they didn't think I had it in me" would virtually guarantee you getting a shot at doing it in AEW. So despite the denials she's headed there (or was it just a specific denial she was going to join as an announcer?), I'm expecting Samantha Irvin, GM of Shockwave in the new year... Quote

She did silly voices and over emoted, potentially in the hope of a bigger role on TV. Some people liked it, some people didn't. It's all good.
