Paid Members Carbomb Posted June 12, 2024 Paid Members Posted June 12, 2024 Yeh, those spumante ones are dangerous. Very nice indeed. More regularly, though, I go for the cocoa & hazelnut or cocoa & coconut ones.
Paid Members Hannibal Scorch Posted July 7, 2024 Paid Members Posted July 7, 2024 I do some snack reviews on YouTube (don’t worry, no links) but just did one on theseThey were not the worst thing I’ve ever tried, but they were certainly bizarre and can’t recommend them.

The sheer concept of those sounds gross. Who would want sour gummy sweets mixed with biscuits?!

Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted July 7, 2024 Paid Members Posted July 7, 2024 Vanilla flavoured Monster Munch levels of awfulness, I'd hazard a guess.

I can barely remember how they tasted now. But I guess these tasted like regular golden Oreo’s but with a sour patch taste. The bits were not chewy like the sweets but you could taste them. They definitely were not my cup of tea, but I’m sure there are some (weirdos) that would like them. My brother bought those back with a packet of Chips Ahoy with Reeses PB Cups which were obviously delightful.

On 5/29/2024 at 7:48 PM, air_raid said: Hello. You may have read me waxing lyrical about the joy of crispy nuts from Beskidzkie (who make the best and most frequently spotted paluszki in all the Polish shops). Update - having totally fallen for the cheese n onion, paprika and barbecue flavours (which taste very much like KP/McCoys flame grilled steak) ; spotted Wasabi flavour the other day. Very addictive, will not destroy your nose in the heat stakes.
Merzbow Posted March 15, 2025 Posted March 15, 2025 Aldi have the bootleg Marmite nuts right now, they're lovely. I thought almonds were a strange choice but they work.
deathrey Posted March 15, 2025 Posted March 15, 2025 Marmite cashews are lovely but expensive. May have to grab some of those
Paid Members air_raid Posted June 11, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 11, 2025 Pretzel fans - as well as changing the packaging M&S have added Pickled Jalapeño flavour and (in my local at least) they are on an introductory lower price. Very nice even if not as hot as they sound. If like me, you like a little dill flavour as long as it’s not too dominant, give them a whirl. If dill’s the devils herb for you, avoid.
Paid Members BigJag Posted June 12, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 12, 2025 It's ridiculous that a City Centre the size of Leicester doesn't have an M&S. Fosse Park and Thurmaston are the closest.
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted June 12, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 12, 2025 Only about 5 years late but I discovered the George Egg "Snack Hacker" vids via the Off Menu pod. Fun enough little vids. Here was my first copied "Snack Hack". Also the first time I've had Primula since the 90s when it was always in my Nan's fridge. 6/10. Tasted good but the contrast of texture and temperature were annoying. Bought jarred Jalapenos yesterday ready for the next attempt!
