Yeh, those spumante ones are dangerous. Very nice indeed. More regularly, though, I go for the cocoa & hazelnut or cocoa & coconut ones.

I do some snack reviews on YouTube (don’t worry, no links) but just did one on theseimage.thumb.jpeg.63d5cd182d9969cc881a4e5261711fa1.jpegThey were not the worst thing I’ve ever tried, but they were certainly bizarre and can’t recommend them.

The sheer concept of those sounds gross. Who would want sour gummy sweets mixed with biscuits?!

Vanilla flavoured Monster Munch levels of awfulness, I'd hazard a guess.

I can barely remember how they tasted now. But I guess these tasted like regular golden Oreo’s but with a sour patch taste. The bits were not chewy like the sweets but you could taste them. They definitely were not my cup of tea, but I’m sure there are some (weirdos) that would like them. My brother bought those back with a packet of Chips Ahoy with Reeses PB Cups which were obviously delightful.

Superb and definitely worth a walk to your nearest Polish shop if you like both crispy nuts and cheese n onion.

Hello. You may have read me waxing lyrical about the joy of crispy nuts from Beskidzkie (who make the best and most frequently spotted paluszki in all the Polish shops).

Update - having totally fallen for the cheese n onion, paprika and barbecue flavours (which taste very much like KP/McCoys flame grilled steak) ; spotted Wasabi flavour the other day. Very addictive, will not destroy your nose in the heat stakes.

Pretzel fans - as well as changing the packaging M&S have added Pickled Jalapeño flavour and (in my local at least) they are on an introductory lower price. Very nice even if not as hot as they sound. If like me, you like a little dill flavour as long as it’s not too dominant, give them a whirl. If dill’s the devils herb for you, avoid.

It's ridiculous that a City Centre the size of Leicester doesn't have an M&S. Fosse Park and Thurmaston are the closest.

Only about 5 years late but I discovered the George Egg "Snack Hacker" vids via the Off Menu pod. Fun enough little vids. Here was my first copied "Snack Hack". Also the first time I've had Primula since the 90s when it was always in my Nan's fridge.

6/10. Tasted good but the contrast of texture and temperature were annoying. Bought jarred Jalapenos yesterday ready for the next attempt!
