Pretzel fans - as well as changing the packaging M&S have added Pickled Jalapeño flavour and (in my local at least) they are on an introductory lower price. Very nice even if not as hot as they sound. If like me, you like a little dill flavour as long as it’s not too dominant, give them a whirl. If dill’s the devils herb for you, avoid.

Yeah these are great. They bloody stink though. 8/10

Only about 5 years late but I discovered the George Egg "Snack Hacker" vids via the Off Menu pod. Fun enough little vids. Here was my first copied "Snack Hack". Also the first time I've had Primula since the 90s when it was always in my Nan's fridge.

6/10. Tasted good but the contrast of texture and temperature were annoying. Bought jarred Jalapenos yesterday ready for the next attempt!

Primula wheat crunchies.  On my list now.

According to a Facebook snack group I follow (stop laughing) these bad boys are back in Home Bargains!

They are indeed priced at £1.35, they still don’t have the cheese ones though, only seems to be the buffalo wing and honey and mustard ones

Honey Mustard is my favourite. The Buffalo Wing flavour is one I haven't tried. I'll have to track them down.

I couldn't find an ice cream thread, do we have one? Well I tried a Twix ice cream for the first time today and was deeply disappointed. Where is the biscuit?! Why is the caramel so soft in an ice cream? It was almost runny, it should have some chewiness and bite to it in an ice cream. 2 out of 10. Won't be having one again

Yeah I was as disappointed at those as I was the Maltesers ones. Weird as I love Mars ice creams.

I haven't tried the Maltesers one, if it's like the Twix, I shall avoid. Mars and Snickers are both excellent ice cream bars, Feast used to do one many moons ago that was excellent

I haven't had one in years but the older version of the Oreo ice cream sandwich were perfect for one you'd find in every generic ice cream freezer, pretty sure they changed at some point though.

Had one of these bastards when I went to Spain in June. Worth the air fare alone. I don’t know why we stopped Maxibon’s in the UK but I’m hedging my bets and blaming both Brexit and Wokeness.

Maxibon are absolutely fucking elite. Why did they ever stop doing them here?!  Nestle are usually a bit shit but they absolutely knocked it out of the park with Maxibon

They became smaller.  They even have micro ones now. Not the same texture as the original, more biscuit. The original had a chewy texture. Europe seem to have a better selection of ice cream sandwiches.

Feast Bar was excellent.

I feel like the UK has really missed a trick with ice cream sandwiches. I remember having a delicious Ice cream cake when I was in the States as a young 'un, I always wondered why they weren't really a thing here but I guess our weather isn't exactly ideal for it
