Paid Members Benno Posted October 24, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted October 24, 2016 Another fun thing. Originally we were told arrive 15 minutes before. Now they emailed us saying arrive an hour before. Â Â That would be fine, except other people are getting the same email but it says an hour and a half. May give up on this. Paid Members Your Fight Site Posted October 24, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted October 24, 2016 My email says an hour and 30 minutes.  I wonder if entry is “wave”-based, i.e. those with priority tickets are let in, then a chunk from the “hour and 30 minutes” group, a chunk from the “hour” group and so on until the studio’s full. Any one else, sorry, but you can cram into a green room and watch it on a 15-inch CRT like a poor man’s Henman Hill.
WyattSheepMask
So people who show up and wait in a queue for 90 minutes miss out to others that come 30 minutes later and wait in a queue for 60 minutes? Â That'll go over well I'm sure

Paid Members Jazzy G Posted October 24, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted October 24, 2016 Will JR be there or recording commentary over Skype while he drinks his diet peach soda from Sonic?
Moderators PowerButchi Posted October 24, 2016 Moderators Share Posted October 24, 2016 Yeah, I think I'm probably gonna give this a miss now. I'm not queuing in Salford for fucking hours dying for a piss/fag/pint.
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted October 24, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted October 24, 2016 Â I have tickets confirmed, but scared to drive down on off chance they don't let me in given how much a mess it's been That's the thing that's getting me about it all. Surely they have a set number of people they can accommodate, so why would you just give away a seemingly endless supply of tickets and just allow in whoever gets there first. Â Whenever tickets are free, you'll always get a load of people who don't go. There's not the same commitment when people haven't paid. They obviously know that so to avoid gaps they're over subscribing. It's not unusual.
Undefeated Steak
Loving the 80,000 claim. Wrestling hyperbole at it's finest. Wouldn't be the same without it.
AshC
90 minutes queue? Man, the northwest indie feds and 'Audience with' guys are going to be all over that. Flyer-tastic.
Paid Members Benno Posted October 24, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted October 24, 2016 If "80,000 tickets" is even slightly true, Fludder & Chris Masters should turn up with a bus that says ITVWRESTLING.COM on the side of it and ferry the 75,000 stragglers back to Preston for a show at Flares or wherever. The Hitman
See I've had the opposite experience of not being able to get a ticket for love nor money. Emailed them over a week ago and got a reply asking for a phone number to confirm the booking, which I replied to same day. Never got a reply from that email, no phone call and three follow up emails from the past week have all been ignored. With organisation like this they seem to have skipped the World or Sport era and dived right into a nostalgic look at British wrestling circa 2001. The Clint
I wonder how many parents that aren't familiar with wrestling are rushing to grab tickets for their young kids only to be disappointed when they realise that there's no Cena etc.
Briefcase
I'd rather pay for a ticket knowing I am getting in, than all this first come first served bollocks, wrestling fans can be bad at the best of times so even queue will end up with people pushing in and letting friends in etc.
AshC
I feel this thread has unfairly glossed over the mention of Tail End Charlie. The great lost gimmick of BritWres, that.
