Guest
It started at a very small in glasgows east end, and caught on at icw shows, then travelled. Simon Cassidy has it copyrighted for wrestling related things. Then when Nxt was first in Glasgow, the announcer started playing to it, had it on his Instagram etc him doing it, and it got back to full sail who I have heard try it a few times
MungoChutney
Simon Cassidy has actually set up a company called One Fall Media off the back of it. Shrewd guy and definitely the best UK announcer at the moment.

mrtrickio
El Ligero Tweeted yesterday they've had over 80,000 requests for tickets. They email me every other day saying they have plenty of tickets left... With the taping only a week away they might be struggling to fill the studio. Paid Members chokeout Posted October 24, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted October 24, 2016 Â El Ligero Tweeted yesterday they've had over 80,000 requests for tickets. They email me every other day saying they have plenty of tickets left... With the taping only a week away they might be struggling to fill the studio. Â Â I doubt they've had trouble filling the studio but there's no way they've had that amount of requests for tickets. Literally everyone I know who applied for them, got them with little hassle. Paid Members PunkStep Posted October 24, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted October 24, 2016 This is wrestling remember, so 80,000 actually equates to a much lower number.
Paid Members Benno Posted October 24, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted October 24, 2016 I doubt the 80,000 number (it came from JR allegedly), but I believe they have over allocated, which is normal for a TV production. Â After ringing us to confirm our booking the other day, they've now emailed us asking us to confirm again (from a noreply@ email address that naturally, doesn't take replies) and now today have texted us asking to confirm, again. Â I think lots of people who turn up expecting guaranteed entry will be disapointed.
SiWri
Most of the tickets are "First Come First Served" so they are dishing them out to anyone who wants them. Then you rock up on the day and hope you're early enough to get in. Only those with "Priority" tickets will be guaranteed entry.
Krytie 2X4B 523P
I emailed for tickets and got a reply saying all priority tickets have been allocated and there would be some available on a 1st come, 1st served basis. Got a phone call about an hour ago from ITV asking if I'd still be interested in any. I said no because I know of 2 people that have 4 tickets (both have 2 spare so far). Â Was planning on going with my son but fear it's going to be too much of a farce that I think I'll give it a miss and wait for it to air on TV. Â Really hope it's a success though. Paid Members Your Fight Site Posted October 24, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted October 24, 2016 After ringing us to confirm our booking the other day, they've now emailed us asking us to confirm again (from a noreply@ email address that naturally, doesn't take replies) and now today have texted us asking to confirm, again.  I had the same chain of events.  So they’ve asked for DMs to an account that doesn’t have DMs open. Posted an incorrect telephone number for tickets. And then asked people to respond to a noreply@ email address.  Whoever’s running the public relations for this, they’re a bunch of berks. Guest
I have tickets confirmed, but scared to drive down on off chance they don't let me in given how much a mess it's been
JohnM
I hope they really are doing the whole WOS thing with rounds, KOs & public warnings for punching, that style deserves some love. Â James Mason, Doug Williams and Danny Collins would make great bookings. It would be great if they could bridge the gap between the original and this version of WOS wrestling, eg bring out Kendo Nagasaki & Marty Jones as team captains. WyattSheepMask
I have tickets confirmed, but scared to drive down on off chance they don't let me in given how much a mess it's been That's the thing that's getting me about it all. Surely they have a set number of people they can accommodate, so why would you just give away a seemingly endless supply of tickets and just allow in whoever gets there first. Surely if they're going with a first come first served basis, and say it's set up for an attendance of 5,000 hypothetically (I don't know how much the place they're using holds), then you allocate a bit over that, say 10% to take it to 5,500 tickets being available. The you only run the risk of 500 being turned away rather than "thousands". I call bullshit on that 80,000 claim
Jon-Carr_92
Looking at the Tweet again. He starts off with "Apparently" A decent consensus is if a statement begins with the word apparently, chances are, it's probably not true. Yes, some shows pretty much have a lottery for them. But can't buy that now. Withdrawn. Now back to where we were. https://twitter.com/ligero1/status/790273530659233792
