I’ve always wondered why Mick hasn’t been used as a writer, agent or consultant by either WWE or AEW.

I think he wrote about some storylines he wanted to do in one of his books that Vince turned down. And rightly so as they were shit from what I remember.

Was it the stuff around Melina? It was dreadful how she was made part of that storyline but they missed out huge chunks of why she was. So nobody gave a toss. Maybe poor choice of words there considering Cocktoos was involved.

That was the Flair feud was it? made zero sense for her to be involved, except for it allowing Foley to ring her up at night with his great ideas about it!

“Now hear me out Vince, the locker room are sick to death of the smell of Mick Foley so all the Divas team up to try and bath me….”

Wasn't that the feud where they "deliberately" had a shit match? Like as in the match being shit was actually the storyline.

Courtesy of Chat Gpt:

In his autobiography, Have a Nice Day, Mick Foley suggested a storyline where Melina, who was an emerging WWE talent at the time, could play a role as a "manipulative" character. He imagined a scenario where she could be paired with him in some sort of managerial or on-screen role, potentially leading to a storyline where she played a part in scheming or deceiving others in the WWE. Foley envisioned the dynamic as one where Melina's character could have added an intriguing layer of complexity to his storylines, combining her strong persona with his own chaotic character traits.

This suggestion was more of a conceptual idea, reflecting Foley's creative mind and his ability to envision fresh angles for both established and new talent. However, it is important to note that the idea was never fully developed or implemented in WWE programming.

That isn't in Have a Nice Day. What a piece of shit Chat GPT is.

Sounds like what Flair wants to do.

Let's just re do that TNA match from 2010 where they were already both far too fucking old and broken to be having a deathmatch against eachother.

The video should open on it, if anyone wants a reminder.

It was that and something else. I’m sure.

The Melina stuff was weird. But at least he thanked John Morrison for being “cool about it” in his book. Which is more than Batista did in his book where he bascially said he cucked JoMo.

I recall the ideas. What I rather meant by "Was it the stuff around Melina?" was trying to verify if...

File that particular idea next to Col Robert Parker bringing The Ebony Experience/Harlem Heat to the ring in prison gear and chains, Hardbody Harrison as Sting's black nemesis Stang, and Goldust's boob job under "wrestlers don't always have the best ideas."

I didn't know about this. This has made me laugh way harder than it should have.
