So... How do I watch this on my TV?? I've got a stupid bastard Amazon fire TV that you can't cast to but I can't find a way of buying it on the TV, normally with ppv stuff there's links and the like on the main menu but I can't find anything. There must be a way. I could cast to the old TV but not the silly Amazon thing. One of you tech savvy people are sure to know

It's only through the website. It might work through the fire sticks internet browser.

I've finally stumped up the £33.59 for the ppv. It should be pretty special. The stream is on a 3 hour delay and starts at 3pm UK.

There is a picture of the running order going around now. Cant be sure its a shoot but it looks fairly legit.

Early bands getting like 15 mins and then the big hitters getting 30. Longest slots are for Supergroup A and Supergroup B which I assume is sets from the Tom Morello curated stuff.

It's bafflingly annoying how many people are up in arms at the short sets.

I sort of knew this would happen, there was signs that a lot of people weren't clear on what they were in for.

It was never going to be a normal gig, or festival, it's just a big celebration of one man/band. The bands were only ever going to do a few sabbath covers, maybe their biggest hit (or two) and that's it. The real fun stuff will be the supergroup bits, drum battles and what I assume will be a brilliant encore with lots of special guests at the end!

I'm sure it'll be amazing. I hope everyone who's going enjoys it.

Yep. It had standard tribute concert plastered all over it from the start.

Not that anyone is interested but I've bought my sons Samsung TV downstairs and put it under the big TV and I'll be casting from his phone! With the added bonus of Bluey being on the TV!

Enjoy the Metal Live Aid everyone!

I've got it on now. Hooked up the PC to the big telly in the end.

My friend is backstage (works for Live Nation) and messaged me yesterday saying Travis Barker was there so the drum battle should be a good one.

So by the looks of it, so far it’s been two of your own songs plus a cover. Exceptions are Anthrax who did one song and a Sabbath cover, and Halestorm who did an Ozzy cover instead of Sabbath.

“Supergroup A” did six songs total, 4 Ozzy 2 Sabbath

Eloy Casagrande is there too, so if he’s in the Drum Off everyone else might as well just stay backstage

Just saw a story on Download’s Instagram showing Steven Tyler doing Walk This Way with Tom Morello, Chad Smith and others I can’t quite make out. Fuck me.

Aerosmith is THE band I never got to see. I had tickets three times to see them and all got cancelled for various reasons. I wish I’d just bit the bullet and sold a kidney for a ticket today.

It may technically be live commentary but fuck it - the Ozzy solo set just finished on the "live" (2 hour delayed) stream and I was absolutely blown away by how good he sounded.  I'm sure he had a bit of help from the sound guys but given all the talk of him potentially only being up to one or two songs during the build up, this was a miraculous performance (and the Sabbath set is still to come!).  The whole room here (and looked like most of the crowd there) was in tears during Mama I'm Coming Home, and you could see the old Ozzy in there fighting to get out more and more as the set went on even if his body says otherwise.  I'm so glad he's had the opportunity to have a proper farewell like this.  What a fucking legend.
