While Judas Priest won’t be a part of the show this weekend as they’re on tour in Germany (although the idea of them “Phil Collins at Live Aid-ing” it was proposed), they have covered ‘War Pigs’ which will no doubt be played at some point during the day

Theres a video of Ozzy doing Mama I'm Coming Home and he sounds alright!

Sorry if this is a stupid question but what are Sabbath going to play if everyone else is playing their biggest hits?

Very little. Ozzy is gonna maybe do 4 or 5 songs with Sabbath? You'd think they'd save Paranoid, War Pigs, Iron Man & Changes for the finale.

Really excited for the black sabbath show tomorrow. Coming up from Bristol, going to get into Birmingham early to see the bench and mural before doors open. It will be my 3rd time seeing sabbath and 4th time seeing Ozzy solo.

Have absolutely no idea what to expect from the day, it’s going to be great or a car crash!

Has anyone got any idea of what food options will be available in villa park?

Sorry I'm not up on things as I'm not a Sabbath fan. Is that because Ozzy isn't well enough to do more than 4 songs?

Pretty much. Aside from the damage he did to himself through years of drug abuse, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s back in 2019 which reduced his ability to walk and in 2020 it was revealed that he was suffering from emphysema, both of which put an end to his touring days after originally being postponed.

Since then he has only performed twice, playing two songs with Black Sabbath as part of the closing ceremony of the 2022 Commonwealth Games, and two songs as part of the NFL Kickoff that same year.

There is a picture of the running order going around now. Cant be sure its a shoot but it looks fairly legit.

Early bands getting like 15 mins and then the big hitters getting 30. Longest slots are for Supergroup A and Supergroup B which I assume is sets from the Tom Morello curated stuff.

Getting more and more excited for tomorrow now! I wish I had a standing ticket, I know it’s a long day on your feet but at least you can walk around a bit and mill about at the back if you want.

I have a phobia of drunk people throwing up on me, which happened to my wife years ago at a Take That gig no less! So I’m worrying about what other people around me will be like, but hopefully everyone behaves themselves and enjoys the show

Apparently Aston can be a bit on the rough side so stick to the main roads if you’re walking back to your car somewhere

The throne he is sitting in should have something built in to assist him standing up. Linda McMahon at Mania X7 visual.

Would get a fucking enormous pop.

Genuinely wouldn't surprise me if they do have something like this - when he performed at the Commonwealth games closing ceremony, Ozzy was supported by a pretty heavy-duty back brace.

Aston is a complete and utter shithole. Use main roads and head towards the city centre rather than towards Handsworth (also a shithole) unless you want something to eat - then go to Soho Tavern. Excellent Indian food
