Spent about 2 minutes looking at that poster trying to figure-out what venue it was at. Thought Spoilers were the headliners. Quote
Merzbow Posted June 15, 2025 Posted June 15, 2025 Great bit of new black metal that pisses off all the right people just because of a front cover. Quote
wordsfromlee Posted June 16, 2025 Posted June 16, 2025 Biohazard have released their first song in 13 years and for a bunch of bloke pushing 60, they can still give any of the current hardcore bands a run for their money. Quote
WyattSheepMask Posted June 17, 2025 Posted June 17, 2025 Yeah I really enjoyed that. Wheel remaining firmly un-reinvented, they know what brought them to the dance Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted June 17, 2025 Author Paid Members Posted June 17, 2025 Yep, didn't want anything else other than that. Quote
Merzbow Posted June 22, 2025 Posted June 22, 2025 The older I get the more I start enjoying the most ignorant sounding caveman Slam. Quote
Merzbow Posted June 24, 2025 Posted June 24, 2025 The new Haggus album is shockingly competent, I always liked them but there's such a huge move to well written grindcore with hardcore influences here and some genuinely good production. It still hits that caveman mincecore vibe I love a fair bit but I can see this getting them a whole new fanbase. Quote
Ironic Indie Lad Posted June 30, 2025 Posted June 30, 2025 I have secured a ticket to Back to the Beginning. I will cover it live for the UKFF. Quote
WyattSheepMask Posted June 30, 2025 Posted June 30, 2025 We’ve been trying to think which songs the guest singers will be doing. Obviously there won’t be any Dio era or any other era songs, it will all be Ozzy era, but I reckon Papa V is singing ‘Changes’. Really suits his voice Quote
cobra_gordo Posted June 30, 2025 Posted June 30, 2025 I'll be going for a beer when David Draiman comes out I know that much. I think I'm most looking forward to seeing Jake E Lee play Bark At The Moon with Ozzy. Quote

Not that I really want to see it, but I wouldn't begrudge him wanting that moment with his daughter. Quote

I know a lot of us baulked at the price initially, but anyone on here that is going to this I genuinely hope you have a great time. I’m not paying £25 for the stream as I do t think I’ll be able to get it watched in the 48hrs afterwards before it disappears, but if it were to appear on a torrent somewhere and I can make a separate donation I’ll do it that way instead Quote
cobra_gordo Posted July 1, 2025 Posted July 1, 2025 I managed to get a ticket a couple of weeks ago when Ticketmaster released the production holdbacks. Don't mind admitting that I paid just over £400 for gold standing because I had a "fuck it" moment. I still feel sick at spending that much to go to a gig but it feels like a moment in time that I can't miss. I'll still be torrenting the gig though, fuck paying another £25 to relive it and only for a couple of days. What I'm most gutted about is that I bought Slayer tickets for Cardiff as a consolation prize on the day they were released and they're now being sold for 20 quid with a discount code. Quote
Paid Members waters44 Posted July 1, 2025 Paid Members Posted July 1, 2025 Has there been any announcements on what to expect on the day? When I got the ticket I thought I was an evening thing. Each guest doing a Sabbath song followed by the band doing a song or two, but now it’s a whole day thing! Quote

I'd hazard a guess at 20-30 minute sets, maybe longer as it gets to Tool, GnR, Slayer, Metallica. Andy Copping did an interview recently where he's said they've got a revolving stage so one band can be setting up while another is playing, meaning we're looking at 10-12 minute changeovers between bands. He's also said to expect two or three surprise bands that aren't advertised, one is strongly rumoured to be Soundgarden. Hook it up to my fucking veins. Quote
