Manami Toyota, should have been placed higher than both of them. Kong is probably the greatest monster in the history of woman's wrestling. So I don't really have an issue with her being rated higher than Hokuto. Anyway Meiko Satomura making the top 50 but not Jaguar Yokota, is the true crime. Quote

TAFKA Jonny Vegas Posted June 3 Posted June 3 (edited) Regardless of how silly or meaningless lists like this are, I would really love to be in the room if and when HHH became aware of his placement and some of the names ahead of him. You just absolutely know it would fucking ruin his day. Edited June 3 by TAFKA Jonny Vegas Quote
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted June 3 Paid Members Posted June 3 239th is still too high for that twat. Anyone taken a look at this Pro Wrestling Only forum? Any good? Should we all start jumping ship? Quote
Paid Members Statto Posted June 3 Paid Members Posted June 3 The name Pro Wrestling Only suggests no room for shitting, chippy tea or Scottish football content so I doubt we'd be welcome. Quote
Cousin Jim Bob Posted June 3 Posted June 3 I really need to see more Hashimoto matches. Tbh 90's NJPW is a massive blind spot for me, outside of the Super Juniors stuff. Quote

He sold PPVs, he drew at live shows, he got the live crowd pumping and was involved in more than one rise in the popularity in wrestling. I understand what people's view of a good wrestler is can vary heavily, and I'm not a fan as the American Jingosim didn't hook me, but anybody who thinks he couldn't work when you see the reactions he got is mental. I thought it might be down to him being a cunt, but he's higher than the past two versions. It's meant to be based purely on in-ring work from what I can tell, rather than drawing, promos, etc. Still, even with that criteria, some of the prominent voters did push hard for Hogan to be ranked highly on X. I'm a lurker on PWO, and Hogan has had his defenders on there over the years (the worker, not the person obviously). Which probably explains why he's a bit higher this time over 2016. Not New Japan although the feud went there too, he had bangers with Tenryu who was running rival company WAR. Quote

I half remember a brilliant story (maybe reported by Bryan Alvarez?), where Triple H didn’t really discover the internet until 2003/2004, and was surprised and disappointed to discover that rather than everyone celebrating him as the new Ric Flair or Harley Race, everyone was slagging him off for being utterly shit. Something really funny about imagining him clicking around online, absolutely gutted, his sad, drooping facial expression matching his shit handlebar moustache 6 hours ago, LaGoosh said: 239th is still too high for that twat. I suppose it depends on what people view as in-ring work, I think Hogan was actually pretty good in ring, the storytelling element of it and drawing the crowd in, it was formulaic as fuck but so was Ric Flair's act.
